Installed these today (4/27/21) and it was almost a breeze to install on my 2019 TRD Sport Tacoma 4x2.
The top fastener facing the cab was a challenge to get to the backside because there's a panel where the tailgate striker assembly attaches.
With some needle nose vise grips I was able to get it snugged down.
