4.0 out of 5 stars study; good value; but what if your total weight is much > 200 lbs?
By Jack on February 18, 2019
Bindings are sturdy, easily adjustable, and do not slip. At 180 # (probably approx 190-195# with boots and winter clothes), I sank < 3 inches in powdery snow with the 30 inch length. Traveled in a fairly flat terrain, so I can't say anything about the efficiency of the cleats. Some reviewers complained about these being too easily clogged with snow. The only reason I gave only four stars is because the guidelines for length were a bit sketchy on the Amazon site. Weight is with boots and winter clothing; a larger size (and thereby area) is recommended by the manufacture for powdery snow. If you weight (with boots and winter clothes) is near the upper end of one of the weight categories, I would go up to the next size. I'd like to hear from someone whose total weight is much in excess of 220 # about whether the 30 inch length is sufficient before I would recommend them is some that size.
