I'd been searching for a nonstick version of my 3 qt stainless steel pan but couldn't find one that had the style I was looking for. This fits in perfectly with my other "nonsticks". The nonstick is excellent and is easy to clean. I have come to just leave on the stove at the ready. The vented lid is also a plus; no boil overs. It arrived with a tiny nick on the edge but it wasn't bad enough to go the exchange procedure. A very easy pan to handle. I'd buy it again!

Handlers get super HOT

Bought this pot because it claimed the handlers did not get hot. Well, they do and it is impossible to cook anything when all handlers including the top of the lid get super hot. Pot thickness is average nothing to go crazy for but the main drawback is really how hot the handlers get.

Although it is called a saute pan, I use it as a skillet. The square sides makes the bottom fit perfectly on my ten-inch burner and the sides are tall enough that I'm not forever slinging food all over the stove. The bottom is a little on the thin side but that seems to let it heat up a lot quicker. It has not warped which may be due to the fact that I never use a heat setting above medium. The non-stick coating is still working well after four months. The lid handle is not heat resistant and requires the use of a pot holder.

I am very happy with this pot. It is a great in-between size for stews and soups that don't require a large stockpot, also very good size for making pasta. It cooks like a dream: very even. It is heavy enough to resist scorching food during a long simmer and to resist warping. (Heating it on Medium before going to High helps prevent warping.) The nonstick finish makes clean up easy, and if I have room in the dishwasher, I can wash it in there -- the easiest cleanup of all!

Held off on the review for a few months until it was tested. I can now honestly say that this is an amazing pan, very much non stick even after every day use, holds enough food to feed a small army, love the high sides, comfortable handles on opposite sides and is built very durable and strong. Seasoned the pan only once when I first got it and now it seems to season itself when I use pure olive oil in every day cooking and it is still completely non stick. Great pan and product and can only recommend it.
