Great results
Overall this filament was pretty easy to print, especially considering it’s a higher end engineering filament! The print quality and final finish is gorgeous with that rougher texture that hides the layer lines. For adhesion, make sure you use clear packing tape for PPCF and bed weld for ABSCF. I did fully calibrate the filament in my slicer and dried the filament for over 24 hours. Very strong and lightweight!

    This was my first time using a Polypropylene Filament so I wasn't sure what to expect. I printed using my bambu x1c printer and I like the quality of the prints. I haven't had issues with clogging and the price is good for this kind of filament. As with all different types of filaments, you have to figure out what settings work for your printer and go from there.

    This is my first experience with Polypropylene so I got some of the ERYON black and printed a few small things and they printed vey nicely once I found the correct settings. Using and X1Carbon. I started printing some bigger things and it is really hit or miss. I have come to find there are spots on the filament that are stretched thin and will cause the extruder to slip and not feed it properly. It also wont trip the filament feed sensor since it is just slipping. It was the cheapest stuff I could find and I feel like it was a net negative due to the following; Cardboard spool was a bit beat up when it arrived, It eventually got so warped the filament would not unspool very smoothly. There where multiple spots where the filament was stretched thin that I notice when I was respooling it. And now that I have a decent amount on a new spool, and cleanly wound, It still slips in the extruder and misfeeds. I checked the diameter with a calipers and I'm getting below 1.7mm and as low as 1.62mm which just means it is poorly manufactured. Ive use half the roll and probably 80% of that were failed prints. I might get it used up on smaller prints that I can babysit but I cannot trust it to finish a medium to large print. Even after I took retractions all the way off. You will be better off sourcing another brand of Polypropylene elsewhere.

    Filament très technique a imprimer, bien plus que l'ABS.
    Par contre une fois trouvé la technique pour que le filament adhère bien ça roule tout seul.
    Imprimé sur x1c a haute vitesse, plateau a 80 puis 90 (oui ça marche mieux en augmentant plutôt qu'en baissant la température) et buse a 240 puis 230.
    Adhère sans aucun problème sur un plateau recouvert de gros scotch transparent (le polypropylène adhère au polypropylène).
    Plus qu'à trouver des usages pour ce filament qui est très résistant et souple a la fois (souplesse entre le pla et le tpu).

    Kann nicht mit einem Bambu lab A1 gedruckt werden, da der Durchmesser an einigen Stellen deutlich kleiner als 1,75mm ist. Sehr frustrierend, wenn jeder Druck nach ein Paar Schichten fehlschlägt. Die Schichthaftung ist auch nicht besonders gut.
