I have 2 copies of this keyboard - one with brown switches and one with blue. The blue switches are much better to type on IMO. I get around 10-15 wpm faster because they actuate faster and are lighter to press. That said, they can be annoyingly loud. I would be hesitant to use this in an office, and it will probably annoy your friends if you're using it to game. I shelved the one with brown switches because I just don't like them. I would have given that one 4 stars because honestly the brown switches just suck, but that's more the fault of the switches rather than the keyboard. They felt kind of scratchy, I assume because of the soft actuation point.
The build quality is second to none. It has a really sturdy feel - there is no flex, it's heavy, and it never slips.
It works great with both OSX and Windows, there is a jumper switch underneath which can switch it between the modes, which is much more convenient than using software to do it. The volume and play/pause/next/prev keys also work on OSX out of the box (as long as the jumper is turned on)
If you want something minimalist (no gamer bling or dumb gimmicks, no colors, no branding, no LEDs), it's perfect
