I use these cards for my Psychology of Scientific Thinking class. It's perfect for both testing "ESP" on naive individuals, but also can be used to fool them into thinking I am psychic. The pattern of each card is indicated in a subtle way on the back of the card, so if you know what to look for it's pretty easy to figure out. However, when I gave them the cards and had them search for the tells, one of them did notice the differences after about 5 minutes of looking at a few. These are card-stock quality with a nice veneer on them like normal cards. They are bigger than a normal deck of cards in dimensions.

I suppose I should've read the other reviews before buying these.. Don't get me wrong, these cards are awesome and I'm planning to give them a shot.. But, and I mean a big BUT… They have these small marks on the back side, which help you identify which images they contain… So :(
Anyhow, if I can figure out how to ignore I ever read that in the little booklet that comes along with it, then I suppose I can play with these for a bit…

If you like performing magic tricks these cards are perfect for you. They a cleverly marked. But if your looking for unmarked esp cards, and want to truely test your own esp capabilities then I would recommend looking for 'unmarked' cards elsewhere. These cards are very durable and come with a instructions to perform tricks for an audience and are overall designed pretty good.

ESP cards lacked instructions for use

Cards did not come with any instructions for use other than as a 'magic trick' and how to use that. I wanted them for use in the original creation by Duke University for testing ESP as a party game! Since they are named "ESP Testing cards", at the very least I expected they would contain instructions for doing that. Instead, they came with a one page flyer for other products the manufacturer was selling along similar lines!
