This pot/pan exceeded my expectations. Yes, the titanium is very thin, but its perfectly adequate for ultralight backpacking as long as you take a bit of care not to sit or fall on it. As with ALL titanium pots, you should use a very low heat setting on your stove, and therefore alcohol stoves are not the best option unless you don't mind lifting the pot every few seconds to keep from scorching your food. The nonstick however does a good job if you treat it gingerly and don't apply too much heat. Heat transfer is VERY fast. I literally cooked two small pancakes in about 20 seconds, scrambled and egg in about 30 seconds, both without any burning. Water boil times with 2 cups are fast as well...about 2 mns with an isobutane style stove. Do not use metal utensils, and find a nice little plastic or possibly wood spatula (like the Bear Grylls style which works great for me) to quickly scrape the bottom of the pot/pan while cooking and cleaning. Clean up is very quick, and if you do it right, you really don't need anywhere near the scrubbing of a regular pot without the nonstick surface. In many cases you can just rinse it and go. Superlight design and the handles are reasonably functional.
I was able to fix about anything I wanted in it and I'm a big eater. I fixed a 6.4 oz noodle pack plus a 7 oz. chicken pack,plus a few veggies and still didn't boil it over the top. Perfect size for a big eater or two light eaters.
I plan on giving an update once I've had the pot for awhile and logged more miles with it. But so far so good. Yes, its quite a bit more expensive, but it had all the features I wanted, including the low sidewalls instead of the taller, deeper designs on the market. The only improvement I would look for is a locking lid or strap to keep it tight together with the pan lid. But, all in all, a very nice set.
