Top Customer Reviews
I offered to fix it myself, but they confirmed that it would void the warranty. Okay. I guess I'll try to get it replaced then... *fingers crossed* Well, to my surprise, they offered to replace it without me even asking. How often do you think a company replaces an entire product (given the limitations of a warranty) due to fan noise? My guess is not very often, so this really impressed me. What impressed further was that EVGA even paid for shipping the replacement to me AND provided prepaid shipping for my defective product.
As long as EVGA keeps up customer service like this, I will be a loyal customer. The replacement is working just great and no bird is stuck in it yet.
I contacted EVGA about it and they said it sounded like, no way!, their unit was faulty. Of course, there's a warranty. But instead of apologizing and offering to reimburse me for the shipping at least, I have to pay to ship it to them and give a week or two before I get a new one sent back. I should've just bought my PSU from someone else.

Has all the cabling I need and hasn't failed me yet. I am only using one Strix R9 390 card (mobo limits) but this would definitely support dual cards.
One thing I should point out however, not product related is, when you purchase a power supply, spend the extra cash and get one brand new, same with hard drives. I've had to return 3 power supplies that were sold as 'used', which were doa, finally replaced with a new one and all is well.
By the way, thank you Amazon for making the return processes quick and easy!
I used to have a 430 watt power supply which would shut off
because not enough power was going to my graphics card
I will post my specs below so you can judge from that.
CPU: AMD FX-6300
GPU: Nvidia GTX 970
W/ a DVD drive
Going from 430 watts to 650 was the best thing i could have done,
With my CPU powered, the 24 pin cable connected, and my graphics card,
the only extra cable i had to connect was a SATA cable to power my DVD
drive and Hard Drive, I sill have 5 ports on my power supply to power other additions.
Overall this power supply is great for the average gaming PC when your still looking to
upgrade in the future!
(THE SECOND PICTURE IS OF MY OLD POWER SUPPLY, NOT THE PURCHASED PRODUCT)
This power supply runs just fine, and will run everything that most people will ever need in their system, so I give this one a big thumbs up for power delivery - a small minus for the color on the cables, but not enough to detract a star from - I just chose this one without looking at the cables closer - human error.
Pros: Good price for Wattage and 80+ Bronze. Has 2 6+2 pin GPU power cords.
Cons: Wall cable is a loose fit in the back of the PSU (I suggest adding electrical tape or something). 20+4 pin Mobo power would not latch on my MSI b250m Bazooka-the latch is too deep on the PSU connector (even with putting my fingers under the edge of the mobo and cramming/wiggling). Package came without external packaging (retail box with shipping sticker), but it was sold as used-like new in all fairness.
Other Thoughts: Higher price than the BT with comes with all black cables but a lower temperature rating. I would recommend waiting for the 450BT to go on sale for 20 bucks.
