I also like that it has all 3 video outputs [hdmi / DVI / VGA] which makes it easy to find monitors and KVM's to work with.
Including a pic of this video card in a Dell PowerEdge r610 server. The r710/720 servers are 2U high and have much more room.
23" monitors in landscape mode is pushing it, barely enough span to allow the outside screens to be tilted inward to face the center. Still thinking of turning one monitor to portrait mode.
Bolts that hold the arms were extremely tight when it was received, and the grub screw that locks the center monitor tilt can be a challenge to tighten due to clearance to insert the allen wrench into the screw.
But given that, based on price and sturdiness it works fine. The free standing base simply won't support 3 monitors, but it did help in figuring out where to permanently mount the upright post with the bolt provided, after drilling through the desktop.
That said, using it set at 2560*1440 it runs at 60hz and no artifacts outside of typical for GeForce GPUs. I have this installed in an older box - a Shuttle SH67H3 - not a problem installing after resetting the BIOS.
Will update later on results with HDMI - if any noted improvement. Looking for 4K mainly for the screen/application-display real estate...
BUT, there is apparently an ongoing problem with NVIDIA Windows drivers. Had I know this before I would have ordered something else. Within a couple of hours I was getting an intermittent error message about "NVIDIA Windows kernel mode driver has stopped responding". You get a black screen and then error message comes up in the corner. It tells you it has been reset and everything functions normally. I haven't tried all my programs or any games, so I don't know how prevelent this is going to be; it's showing up with browser, mail program, etc. After researching I find this has apparently been goiong on for years. I tried a couple fixes to no avail, including completely removing ALL previous drivers and reloading the current one. Didn't fix it. This is not at the annoyance level (yet) of taking it out and returing it, but it would certainly stop me from ordering another one, or any card that requires NVIDIA drivers.
