This video card was the last component I needed to upgrade my computer. Initially, I was going to go with the GTX 570 or 580, but then this beauty came out and I got to say, it is worth the investment. You really get bang for your buck with this card. I can play basically any game at the highest settings while still maintaining 60+ fps. I really needed a more powerful card because I am a streamer and I needed something that can handle a lot. I upgraded from a Nvidia GT 440, which is a huge upgrade. Although the 600W Corsair power supply I ordered along with this was a dud shortly after the power turned on, I was still able to use it with my old power supply, which barely met the minimum requirement (450W). It uses less power than the 500 series which is pretty nice. I would imagine it actually stays cooler as well. I never had a 500 series card, so I don't know what the temperature would be. The card doesn't even really get hot. I am also running this in a PCI Express 2.0 slot instead of 3.0. You may get a slight performance boost, but I don't think it would be significant. While this card is basically designed stock by Nvidia, it is still a great design. It's simple and it keeps pretty cool. This card gives a 7.9 Windows Experience rating on Windows 7. On Windows 8 Consumer Preview (which rates 1.0 to 9.9 instead), it gives a 7.9 as well. This card is just simply a great card. If you are a serious gamer, but you don't want to shell out $200 more for the 680 or $100 for the 670, this card is a great alternative. The 660 isn't far behind the 670 performance wise. It is also still a Kepler card, so you get all the nice features that comes with Kepler, which includes using 4 monitors off the single card if you desire. This card doesn't disappoint and I highly recommend it.Read more ›

I had to max my old amd hd 5770 fan speed to play diablo 3 and sc 2 at high settings, and i would still get temp around 90C. so the hd 5770 was hot and deafening.

since the upgrade, my gtx 660ti has been hovering around 50C at 60% fan speed (manually adjusted). compared to the hd 5770, it is very quiet.

what i like most about the 660ti is that you can connect 3 monitors to it without using some kind of display port. i have a 3-monitor setup using 2 dvi and 1 hdmi connectors. very simple.

and, one-day shipping is awesome, so is amazon prime.

This is realy a great graphics card for the money. I was able to over clock the core past the EVGA "FTW" class plus the Borderlands game, it realy is a great deal. I also incresed the memory speed to 7200 GHZ so the bandwidth is now up to 230 bit equivalent, 173 GB/s. All games went 2 to 3 times the fps of the GTX 560 ti (I had that card for abt. one year). The temps are no more than 76C so it stays cool enough. Also it blows all the hot air out of the case so my overclocked I7 2600K CPU stays cooler as my whole case does. Other than that I was hoping for the price to be closer to $250.00, I'm quite pleased. Other than that since this card turned out so well I,m looking to get the EVGA "FTW" version when it comes out.

For those wondering how fast this thing is, I play Far Cry 3, Crysis 3, CODII, and Borderlands 2 and I can play them all on high settings. For Borderlands 2 and CODII I can completely MAX out the settings and still get 60-100FPS in Borderlands 2 and 100-140 FPS in CODII. For Far Cry 3 I can completely MAX out the settings and use 2x MSAA and still get 50-60FPS. For Crysis 3 I can put everything on HIGH, with motion blur and lense flares ON and still get 50-60FPS.

Simply put, this is all the graphics card you really need. Even with a GTX 680 you won't be able to play the games I've listed at much higher settings. And those are the most demanding games you will every find, especially Far Cry 3 and Crysis. And I get beautiful quality.

You can also overclock this card. Right now I'm overclocked to 1150Mhz core clock and it's completely stable.

I 100% recommend this product for the 300$ price tag.

I would go for 4-5 stars, but the card stopped working by the 2nd week. After much reading on the web, seems there is a large batch of defective cards out there. It first starts with some "driver stopped working" issues. After a while, when gaming for 10-15 mins the card will just shut down, and leave you with a black screen. I know its the card because everything else is working, and I can even enter windows on safe mode and enabling the integrated graphics card. Its not the cooling because temp never increased too much, and it isn't power because it worked fine for a week. The card seems to be working because it receives power and the fan is moving, but it just... doesnt work. I only used it to play games that are way below the capabilities of the card, like dota2 and chivalry:medieval warfare.

Im really disapointed at this product, im returning it to amazon and trying to get some refund so that I can buy a Radeon or something else. That is the problem of buying these products on amazon international, but I have no other choice if I want to access a good graphics card.

A truly impressive video card. It is a little pricey for poor folks, but it ran World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria at 80 fps with 53 ms latency anywhere in the game. I used it to upgrade my HP Pavilion Series p7-1423w. My only problem was the computer did not have enough fans to keep the card cool so I had to take the side out of my computer and set one up. That solved the problem. Looked unprofessional, but worked. A side note is that the first card I got did not work. Took me a while to figure this out, but when I did I called the company and their smooth, pleasant techs helped me to replace the card quickly and with no hassles. They do require special packaging to send the cards back and some computer work to register it, but it wasn't as bad as I dreaded.
