I've provided a few pics of my build and benchmarks for ppl to see. FYI if you do decide to go with a Hybrid and you want to run SLI you DO NOT need to use another Hybrid. You just need to use another 980Ti reference card. I choose to go with two so I could keep my temps low. Now that I'm running two Hybrids in SLI my top card runs at 30°C while the bottom card runs at 25°C, this is normal according to Nvida. There is however a way to get around this which is to install the second card in the 4th PCI slot instead of the 3rd but not all motherboards can do that without performance degradation. Unfortunately, my board wont allow it so I have to stack them together. Newer mobos from a reputable manufacture can usually do it but you would want to research it prior to making the purchase.
As far as overclocking is concerned I was able to overclock the cards to 1404Mhz without adding any additional voltage. These cards can go higher than that should you choose to do so but I'm very content at the performance with the clocks I've achieved without having to over volt.
Here are my system specs:
OS: Windows 8.1
CPU: Intel i7-4770K
FAN: Corsair H80i
MOBO: EVGA Z87 FTW LGA1150
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 16GB 2x8GB DDR 1600mhz
VCARD: EVGA GeForce GTX 980Ti Hybrid x2 SLI (ASIC 78.1%)
SCARD: Creative Sound Blaster Z Game Card
PSU: Corsair HX1050 1050-watt
SSD: Kingston Digital 120GB
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB
HDD: WD VelociRaptor 10,000rpm 300GB
MONITOR: Acer Predator x34
CASE: Cooler Master HAF Stacker 935
UPS: CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD PFC Sinewave UPS 1500VA 900W
Overall I highly recommend this card if you want to achieve low temps without having to resort to a custom water loop. You will not be disappointed.
TL;DR │ This is awesome. This is the only option you have for an out-of-the-box hybrid closed loop liquid cooled Nvidia graphics card, and this makes it unique. As of this writing, the updated LED illuminated HYBRID shroud is used instead of the ugly old one.
NOTE: This review will focus on what makes it unique which is the cooler. Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti has been reviewed extensively everywhere else. Only difference with stock/reference card is that this comes pre-overclocked.

So I got two of these. To my surprise, they came packaged with the updated shroud - the one that is LED illuminated, and with a more neutral and meaner silver/black enclosure, instead of the ugly yellowish one which did not come with any illumination.
The radiator/fan comes pre-configured in a PUSH configuration for EXHAUST (judging based on the orientation of the hose). I took note of this because I am using PULL configuration for INTAKE.
WHAT I LIKE │ + │
+ Liquid cooling made easy.
+ The radiator fan is powered through the GPU (by default).
+ New updated LED illuminated silver shroud.
+ Black backplate is a lot better without one.
+ Covers for the SLI.
+ I can confirm that EVGA products are top-notch when it comes to packaging. I got the same impression with their power supply.
WHAT I DON'T LIKE │ × │
× The fan cable is not nylon braided, which looks out of place.
× Stock fan can be a little noisy.
NICE TO HAVE │ ✳ │
✳ RGB LED
✳ The shroud is not model specific. Does not say "980 Ti". Thus, it could be mistaken for a 980 or even a Titan X.
✳ While there is cover for SLI pin/connector, it is a one piece. Thus, when doing two-way SLI, it exposes the unused connectors.
✳ I really wish EVGA gives away free PRO SLI Bridges when people buy two or more GPU's from them.
✳ I wish there are extension cables (gorgeous individually braided) for the power, not just a direct MOLEX plug cable. For instance, I have an EVGA power supply that has a GPU cable that connects to a 6 + 8 pin GPU (like this one).
PACKAGE │ ✓ ✗ │
✓ EVGA 980 Ti Hybrid with the new shroud.
✓ Boxception. Box inside another box.
✓ A LOT of package protection. A+
✓ MOLEX-ended power cables.
✓ 4 screws, washers, cable zip ties.
✓ Two EVGA velcro labels.
✓ VGA adapter (who uses VGA with a 980 Ti, really?)
✓ Printed materials.
✓ FREEBIES! Posters, stickers.
✗ NO Garbage.

VERDICT: I highly recommend this product.
★★★★★ | 5 stars out of 5. Definitely a five star product. I was pleasantly surprised to find an updated revision of this card. Packaging is also top notch. Though I stated some bad points in my review above, they are easily overlooked by its good points.
