This is not my first EVGA GTX 680, I also own an EVGA 04G-P4-2686-KR. Anyway this card is about 1 inch longer than my already massive EVGA 04G-P4-2686-KR and runs a little colder at idle, ~2-3C cooler which is strange with the higher clock rate. Anyway in the package that you get from Amazon will be a Video Card, Both the Power cables (8Pin -> Dual 6Pin & 6pin to dual Molex), and a DVI to VGA adapter. The Video card was in an electrostatic bag and then was in a padded electrostatic foam box with the accessories which then was in a larger box with the air bubble packs around it. This was surprisingly overall well packaged compared to other items that I have gotten from Amazon that are in a box WAY to big or that don't even come in a box rather just the OEM package! If you are thinking to go SLI with this card, like I did, you can expect ~50FPS in BF3 with the settings all maxed out on Ultra (And I mean EVERYTHING) at a whopping 5760x1080 resolution. If you are running a standard 1920x1080 you will be around 90FPS on Ultra, just enable V-Sync or you may see screen tearing (This is NOT an issue with your card, this is an issue with your monitor's V-Sync not being able to keep up with the FPS output by the video card). As a reference on my computer specs I run an EVGA x79 with 32GB of ram at 1866Mhz paired with a Core i7 Sandy Bridge-E CPU (Ivy Bridge Soon). I am also running the dual cards @ Gen2 Speeds @ 8x, I have it setup: GTX680, Intel Nic (Onboard Marvell is a fail), Raid Card, Sound Card, GTX 680 (This will blox the USB 3.0 header on the MoBo unless you get a slim like flexi cable). If you do run the card @ Gen2 Speeds @ 16x or Gen3 @ 8x or 16x you will most likely not see a difference, no CPU on the market can keepup with that much PCI-E bandwidth and the GPUs are not even fast enough to max out all the Lanes @ Gen3 speeds...yet.

I was thinking of buying the GTX Titan, but i just could not justify spending that much more money, for that little of an improvement in performance. This card was so worth the money! The FTW edition cards are rock solid! (If you don't know what makes them different, do some research) Fast as hell when DX11 gaming with multiple monitors at 1080p! I have played new 3D games at 1080p on one 3D monitor with perfectly smooth frame-rates. 1536 Cuda cores are awesome when it come to video converting in programs that support Cuda. 4GB of video memory allows me to play games for hours without periodic lag due to refreshing buffers or clearing memory to make room for more data. The fan on this card is NOT loud. By default, the temp hovers near 80c when playing games, and you can barely hear the fan. The idle temps are around 39c. (I have a well-ventilated case with quiet 120mm fans throughout) I created a fan speed profile that keeps the card from getting over 70c, and the fan speeds up when i am playing, and then slows back down when I close the game. This will make the card last much longer.

Running a tri-monitor setup and setting the latest PC gaming titles to Ultra. The setting is 5760 x 1080, and it is totally fluent in all games (even Metro Last Light with a low SSA on). The card averages 44⁰C in a Corsair 800D case and in ultra-mode gaming, maxes out at 60⁰C (the 3930K is running a 4.4GHz).

Very impressed...oh and forgot to mention, I can still add a 4th monitor !

I got this GTX 680 FTW edition because im tired of buying cheap graphics cards that won't run my games that well, im coming from a GTX 570 HD and that card was great but not what I was looking for. When the GTX 680 FTW came in the mail I was so excited it was like Christmas. I had to use the two power pins they gave me, so I just plugged them in to my PSU and I was ready to rock! The first game I played was BattleField 3 and it ran everything on ultra also played PlanetSide 2 on high settings with an average of 70 FPS and thats a very graphic game. Also ran a benchmark of batman arkham city on High with 80 FPS no antialiasing. The only thing is you need a nice case with good cooling or the card will get a little warm. So if I was you I would stop messing with those weak GPU's and buy this Card, It's worth the money!

I already owned a EVGA GeForce GTX 680 and bought this to complete a 4-way SLI rig, so this is more a review of the vendor than the already excellent product.
The vendor was prompt, kept me well-informed throughout the purchasing and delivering process. Although a used card it came in a custom foam holder (not the original packaging material), in an antistatic bag and an EVGA box that matched it very well (this may have been a form of original packaging, just not the slick customized ones that came with the new units). The unit was clean, showed no signs of wear and the original documentation was present within. I will do business with this vendor again without hesitation.

Upgraded from SLI 1GB 460GTX's (Fermi) Sonic model by Palit. While I loved the performance from the dual 460's. The 680 is just destroying everything I throw at it. Metro2033, Day Z, Tera, Tribes Ascend are all being played maxed out at 1920 x 1080. EVGA also gives this a three year warranty with purchase and provides a DVI to VGA converter if you need it. Overall the cards quiet. I can't hear it and it works perfectly. Installation was easy. Remove old cards. Plug in new card. Boot. Load Drivers. Reboot. Done.
