Hello guys I recently purchase this card and I'm really happy to said that perform really well my PC had Windows 7 and I did the free upgrade to Windows 10 make sure you download the lasted driver for your new video card, here is the link where you can download the driver according to your OS that you use I do recommended this video card for sure :) , by the way this is for PCI-E 3.0 but is also back compatibility to legacy PCI-E 2.0, it comes with a PCI-E 6-pin adapter and also CD-ROM installation driver in case no internet is available also a DVI to VGA adapter in the box for legacy monitors the minimum power supply according to EVGA website is 300W but a 550W will be adequate for your rig.[...]

edit: I should inform potential buyers about the EVGA $10 rebate on this card. When you follow the links to the forms, it is FOR CANADA ONLY! I complained about this and reported it to Amazon, but they have not fixed this! Don't buy based off the rebate if you are from the U.S.! EVGA will refuse to honor it!

review:

I am a long time PC gaming veteran, and I typically buy upper mid to high end cards. Recently my GTX 580 (a $500 card at the time) gave up the ghost after 3 years. It was a beast, and tore up everything it touched. Luckily, it was one of the last of the lifetime warranty cards, so I was able to get an RMA. That said, I didn't want to be 2+ weeks without a way to be gaming, so I bought this GTX 750 as a temporary holdover card, then to be relegated to backup card status when my 580 comes back to me.

This is the shocker ... I may just leave this 750 in the PC. Why? because it's doing everything I want from a gaming video card, and it does so QUIETLY and with very little power draw (55w, compared to 244w from the 580). These new Maxwell GPU's are amazing. These are some of the benchmarks I've managed from this 750 ... but first, my specs:

intel i7-920 CPU in turbo, 2.8ghz
16 GB DDR3 1600 mhz RAM
27" Samsung S27C500H monitor @ 1920x1080, 60 hz
Nvidia 334.89 WHQL drivers (16x Anisotropic Filtering forced on in the nvidia control panel)

the games:

Batman Arkham City DX11 benchmark, settings maxed, Physx = normal
min 25 fps
max 58 fps
avg 41 fps

Batman Arkham City DX9 benchmark, settings maxed, Physx = normal
min 39 fps
max 100 fps
avg 68 fps

Crysis 3, medium/high hybrid settings

min 38 fps
max 55 fps
avg 45 fps

X-plane flight simulator, default Cessna 172 aircraft

43 fps inside 3D virtual cockpit
HUD only view, 47 to 90 fps with most settings on high, a few on medium.

The following games gave me 60 fps sustained, with vsync/triple buffer on

* Diablo 3, completely maxed settings
* Mass Effect 3
* Orcs Must Die
* Skyrim
* Kingdoms of Amalur
* Assassin's Creed Revelations

This is a $130 card, running on my 5 year old motherboard/CPU. This isn't supposed to happen! This is truly the best bang for the buck card I've ever encountered. This, and it's big brother the 750 Ti are the fastest cards available that don't require an external power supply.

If you're on a budget, I HIGHLY recommend the GTX 750!

It feels like I just went 88mhp on my Delorean. This review comes from someone who has been using a refurbished dell desktop (small box) with 2gb ram, dual core processor, 250gb hd, and a AMD Radeon4700/4800 series running on XPfor 8 years! I had to purchase the video card couple years ago for (40$) just so I can play 2D games, such as Maplestory and Gunbound, and 3D games such as Lunia, Gunz, Combat Arms, League of Legend, and not Hearthstone and I can barely play even in the lowest quality. So it was time to move on.

I blindly bought a new dell desktop with i5 processor, 8gb ram, integrated 4400 graphics and 1tb hd (an incredible upgrade), and I said to myself, if I am upgrading everything, I may as well upgrade the video too. I was looking around 50-80 dollars, entree level video cards. According to a Web site, a GTX 730 might just do the job. But as I was looking, an extra 30-40 dollars wont hurt, as this new computer will probably last me another couple of years. So I went for the GTX 750, which is a solid graphic to many people and extremely good for me. I am currently using a dual display, however, I had to swap the power supply to 500w, but I believe 430 will be more than enough.

To test the card myself, I can play all my games in highest quality without a problem, no lag, everything goes smoothly. I was never the Steam players, or anything like that. But I gave it a try to see how it was. The game could handle Call of Duty: Advance Warfare in low and a little in medium. It can handle Walking Dead series in good quality. It can handle most games in medium quality, which is more than enough for me given my total budget of around 650. I would recommend, if you have friends that would help, to buy your own parts and build it. It can be so much more efficient. If I had done so, I would have enough to buy a GTX 770!

But overall I just wanted to have dual or even triple screen, have the capabilities to play new games, practice Photoshop, Aftereffects, Final Cut Pro and other applications. I would rate the graphic card a 9/10. It is more than enough to do many things for the price under $140!

It's good for its price and will run almost anything well. I have overclocked it using EVGA's utility on the driver CD, and I've seen about a 10% increase in framerate using 80 degrees temperature target, +85MHz clock offset, and +400MHz memory offset, and stock voltage while not ever seeing the temp go over 67 degrees; I didn't see any worthwhile difference beyond that. I have tested this GPU in a few games on 1360x768 for framerate, and here are the results without overclocking:

Planetside 2, mid settings, w/ vsync:
Not battling:
Max: 60
Avg: 60
Min: 60
Battling:
Max: 48
Avg: 36
Min:27

Unigen Valley benchmark, Ultra settings 2x anti-aliasing:
Max: 47
Avg: 42
Min: 32

Minecraft max everything:
No shader mods:
Max: 320
Avg caving: 120
Avg outside: 90
Min: 60
W/ SEUS mod basic, still max everything:
Max: 72
Avg caving: 58

5.0 out of 5 stars Excelente tarjeta de video...
Reviewed in Mexico on February 10, 2017

5.0 out of 5 stars Great card, great deal, great shipping! FTW for sure!
Reviewed in Canada on August 14, 2015
Great card, great deal, great shipping! Ordered on Aug, 12 just after 8pm with a request for free standard shipping. Then next day it was shipped and got the card on August 14 at around 11am. Wow, that was amazingly fast for standard free shipping. To make it better, I ordered the 1GB GDDR5 FTW card for $115 (before taxes) on sale; the 1GB GDDR5 FTW model tends to retail $175+ so I saved ~35% give or take at major retailers. Amazing

Here's my current build which houses this awesome card:
Intel Core i3, 3.4 GHZ, LGA 1150 Haswell
AsRock H87M LGA 1150 Micro-ATX Motherboard
G Skill Ripjaws 4GB DDR3 Ram, 1600 (PC3 12800) (1x4GB Stick)
Western Digital 320 GB Hard Drive, 7,200 RPM
LG 16X DVD-RW Drive/Burner
EVGA 500 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply
Fractal Design Core Micro-ATX Case

Pros++
-Quiet: Runs well with the dual fan setup with little noise and little vibration when powered
-Energy Efficient: I verified via CPUID HW monitor software and FURMARK testing, that this card outputs a total of 55 Watts. My old Geforce GTS 250 ran a total of 150 Watts on full load! Henceforth, this 750 GTX trumps that old, hot card
-Runs Cool: FURMARK testing indicated a max temperature reading of 70 Degrees Celsius on full load, NVIDIA toutes the card can max 95 degrees full load. Yes, no worries about frying this thing anytime soon. Idle temps sit at 29 degrees in my system. Nice...
-Mid Range Power: This card is not too slow or too fast for modern games and applications. Adobe Aftereffects, Photoshop, and Ilustrator CS5 ran much better for me and rendering times were 35% faster than from my previous GTS 250.
-Accessories and Goodies: the 1GB FTW GDDR5 and 2GB GDDR5 FTW models come with a 6 pin PCI-E connector to power them up. All the models however, come with a DVI-VGA adapter, and also that poster as pictured in the product page in addition to a driver's disk and all that other paperwork
-Price: What can I say, this card has a great price to performance ratio than its closest competitor, the Radeon R7 260X, and is ~$30 cheaper than that card

Note: I'm not much of a modern PC gamer anymore but what I do know is that this card can run a demanding PC title like GTA 5 very well- 35-45 FPS, high settings with at least an Intel Core i3, 3.0GHZ+ or an AMD A4-6300 3.7GHZ at 720p.

CONS----
-NEEDS PCI-E 6 PIN CONNECTOR TO POWER UP: The 1GB GDDR5 FTW and 2GB GDDR5 FTW dual fan models REQUIRE 400 Watts+ Power Supply with a +12V Rating of 20 AMPS or more. Amazon needs to list this on the product page before you buy these card models

NOTE: THE GTX 750 1GB GDDR5 Base model, 1GB GDDR5 Superclocked, and 2GB GDDR5 Superclocked models REQUIRE 300 Watts+ Power supply and NO PCI-E 6 Pin connector is needed

If you have a generic/non branded power supply please read the +12V Amp reading on the side of your power supply. 20amps or more and it should be okay. However, you are risking the whole computer itself if that reading is lower than 20amps as the overload may cause overheating and excess surge; therefore, you may destroy the card and the whole computer itself if you're not careful.

-FTW 1 & 2GB GDDR5 Models are BIG, LONG, and take up lots of space: If you are using a computer that is housed in a MICRO-ATX CASE, then you may need to check if the card can fit.

Note: I have a MICRO-ATX case and I needed to move my 2nd hard drive, one slot higher up to accommodate this card. If you can't move your 2nd hard drive higher, than it may be best to get a single slot GTX 750 to maintain room in your PC Case

OVERALL___
I'ts a great card and I highly recommend it for Mid-range modern pc gaming as well as HD video encoding and photo editing. Also, the quiet operation would make it ideal for a Home Theater Computer build running a 4K UHD TV or monitor. This card is amazingly the best bang for your buck graphics card to come out in a long while. Will definitely keep this card for the long term.

4.0 out of 5 stars Preis-/Leistung sehr gut, mit einem kleinen Aber
Reviewed in Germany on June 28, 2016

4.0 out of 5 stars Costs more than the card itself to display 3D on HDMI-only 3D TV.
Reviewed in Canada on May 22, 2014
Style: GTX 750Verified Purchase
To display 3D on a 1080p 3D TV with only HDMI ports (Blu-ray 3D standard), you have to pay $40 more to Nvidia separately to purchase unlock code for 3DTV over HDMI. Without that, you can only use 3D monitors with DVI Dual-Link 3D, or a Nvidia 3d vision certified display.

Card itself is great, low power draw, cool/quiet, and amazon's price is now the best on internet for GTX750.
