However, this Amazon/USPS experience has been a negative one.
So, the USPS side: The package I received was a clear plastic bag (wut?) containing the normal shipping box. The box was noticeably damp. Like someone had left it out in the rain. Where I am, it hadn't rained at all between placing the order and receiving it, so it had to have been caught out in the rain sometime during transit. When I open the damp box, to my horror, I see a lot of condensation and water droplets right on the box of the GPU. I remove the outer sleeve and I see the water has seeped into the interior. By some miracle, no moisture got into the anti-static bag containing the GPU. It works. Runs perfectly fine, but there was a hell of a lot of potential to receive a $460 paper weight.
Now, the promotional code from Amazon: A day later I receive the email containing the promotional code for Wolfenstein/Control. I follow the directions and go to Geforce Experience to redeem it, and wouldn't ya know it, I get an error stating the code has already been redeemed.
Honestly, I'm happy that I have my card and it works, but the dumb little headaches like this are the reason I might just start ordering my expensive electronics from another source. Hell, maybe I'll even start driving 4 hours to the nearest Microcenter. That's better than receiving a box that looks like its been through a monsoon. Amazon and USPS are just getting careless.
UPDATE: I made contact with Amazon support and they provided me with a new promotional code for the games I was supposed to get. The code worked. Thank you to June and Harika for your help!
The card itself is amazing. Runs everything I throw at it 1080p at or around 144hz. Stays cool, quiet, and doesn't require much power.
I cannot give a negative review for this card because of amazon. This has been a negative amazon experience.
Update: EVGA gave a workaround... use their X1 software to set the fans constantly on at 18% or higher...
The RTX is amazing. I tried it on both of the games it came with and both were awesome. It's super quiet. Worked right out of the box. It was replacing another EVGA video card that I passed on to my wife's computer so I already had drivers and the geforce experience installed. It just had to update to the latest drivers, which was seamless. The LEDs on it just add to all the other LEDs I have in my case too. I love it!
I had just found out about the folding@ thing, so I cranked that up too. Even that doesn't slow it down or over heat it. I just don't see any reason to use another brand. I go out of my way, and sometimes pay a little more, just to get EVGA. It's that good.
Finally, I have to add that I went with the EVGA model of this Nvidia chip as they have always treated me well over the past decade or so. This was particularly evident during the RMA process that I had to use a couple of times. They had a quick turnaround, refunded my deposit earlier than promised, and best of all, they sent a better replacement part!

I thought that the RTX 2060 Super might not be enough to run Xplane 11 at the highest image settings but that was not the case. I had raised the Visual Effects, textures and AntiAliasing to the highest settings (Max HDR+SSAQ), (Maximum no compression) and 8X SSAA+FXAA as well as drawing shadows on scenery
The frame rates range from 26 to over 49 (depending on scenery etc)
Everything went quite smoothly.
The equipment included an ASUS X570 Crosshair ROG VIII motherboard, a RYZEN 7 3800X processor and 16gig of ram (Corsair)
The Hard Drive consists of a Kingston 500gig M.20 SSD SATA III
The CPU based settings in Xplane consists of "Number of World Objects" set to Maximum and "Reflection Detail" also set to Maximum and "Draw Parked Aircraft" set ON
The Graphics card cost 610.00 Cnd with taxes.
