I had a (MSI) GTX 460 SLI setup, a long time ago, and it was awesome... now for a while I kept only one of those and was buying for a 600 family card. I saw this for $170 and decided to give it a try. It was a bargain. After installing this, I was going to buy a second one for my second computer, but it was back at it`s regular price :( The performance is awesome, I`m loving it. I guess a lot of people had driver compatibility problems in the past, but so far I have had none. Just make sure you have the SLI Enhancement installed, and SLI configuration set to "Maximaze 3D performace". It is a great card.

Graphic performance was excellent for a single card. Though I did have some issues with tessellation in Metro 2033 but after turning it off it was much smoother. But not a smooth as id hoped for spending this much. With settings on full 1920x1080 tessilation off it averaged at 28 fps and objects seemed to glitch or jump randomly. Crysis 2 runs perfect but after installing the DX11 enhancement and high res textures, found a few setting that it did not support well. Setting are set to extreme not ultra(not going to happen with this card) Post processing had to be turned down and once again tessellation seemed to not render correctly. Those are the only games I've noticed issues with so far, Others I play are Battlefield BC2, NFS Shift, F3AR, and there's a few others but they all run at least 50 FPS most are 60 or higher.
Cooling ability was a great concept but failed design. It has nowhere to send the the air from the 3 fans. This thing is HUGE BTW and lets out a ton of heat into your case. Running metro on settings above it sits at 62C and that's with all 3 fans at 100% which is REALLY LOUD. Since I have switched from My Cooler Master V8 to the Corsair H100 it isn't affecting my cpu temp nearly as much. But lets say the heat it put into my air cooler for the cpu made me want to buy the h100.
After thinking it over I have decided to return this card and go with a 580 or the 570 classified for a few reasons. With the 2win once its in there is no more expanding on it which for ppl with non sli MBs is great and actually probably one of the best options out there. If they made a water block or better cooling solution the heat and noise could have been avoided and I've priced custom parts to make my own liquid cooled solution but it costs almost as much as the card did.

I Had to RMA the card after a few months of use, I noticed some freezes but it only get worst as time pass by, honestly I do not recommend it to anyone, it's a real shame because I wanted 2 GPU, now i have to wait to my new card and buy another one to get double gpu. But EVGA support is awesome.

As of the writing of this review, driver support for this card is not all that great. The card OCs as well as other GTX 460s, and is indeed pretty long. I have a evga E770 Mobo, and even though I have plenty of pci-e slots (4) I use more than just GFX cards, so I got this one to free up a slot to use for a TV tuner. 3 GTX 460s make for a real good folding farm, as well as being able to play pretty much ANY game on max settings at 1080p.

Bottom line: If its SLI-on-a-Card your after, this card is your new best friend. EVGA is the best brand for nVidia cards/intel boards bar none! The pricing is a fair now, especially since its comparable to a pair of individual cards. Remember this card is aimed at folks without an SLI mobo or without room for 2 cards. It's a great alternative to cash strapped buyers that would otherwise need to shell out an extra $200+ for a new mobo!
