Cards sold after Nov 1 are supposed have this issue fixed. I purchased my card on 1/11/17 from amazon and upon registering the serial # I found my card contained the defect. Its absolutely unacceptable of amazon to continue selling defective versions of this product. There are reports of the card catching fire. If you plan on buying this card, do so from another website. Or buy a different manufacturer's version.

Stable Overclock to 4,0GHz with 3200MHz ram, temps 65 Celsius and below.
Having 8GB of VRAM is also a nice basis for a card that should be a solid performer for the next 2-3 years.
The card is attractive in design, and is compact enough to fit easily in most cases, it is no larger than any upper midrange card of the past few generations. I have tried several dozen titles on it from old classics to the latest releases, and had no problems with drivers or glitches in any of them. If you absolutely must have the best, you will have to decide if the 1080 is worth the extra expense and perhaps go for that. Keep in mind though that you may pay 40% or more in additional cost for 15-20% of additional performance. Either way, happy gaming is in store for you!
For strict 1080P gamers that don't have special 120hz or 144hz displays, you might want to consider waiting for the upcoming GTX1060 cards, or have a look at the AMD 480 series, both of which make excellent 1080P gaming possible on a stricter budget.
You know the cooling fiasco of VRMs in EVGA ACX cooling. They tried to solve it somehow. I think they were concerned about life span of the chips therefore suggested pad mod and vbios updates. Eventhough they listened to customers and reacted very fast, they should have seen this issue before starting serial production. Therefore they lost 1 star in my mind.
Overall performance and core cooling are very good.
With fan speed at %100, core temps doesn't go ever 59C in furmark stress test which is very good
OC performance differs very much based on your luck. However if I am buying FTW version, I would expect card to achieve certain OC numbers. My card didn't go over +125 core and +550mhz VRAM (Samsung), not even top voltage and power (%120). Card supposed to have more power phases than normal 1070 therefore I would expect higher voltage and power limits. Otherwise what is the point in buying FTW?
