Amazing motherboard, easily the best motherboard I have ever owned. a couple things were a bit finicky at first since I was used to AMD motherboards without a GUI BIOS, but now that I'm used to it its amazing.

You really notice a large difference when you have quad channel RAM support vs dual channel. I have 64GB of Patriot Viper RAM (8x8GB) running at 10-11-10-27 and I use RAM to cache hard drives, as well as running RAMdisks. I got just over 10GB/s write speed on a RAMdisk when on my previous dual channel motherboard with the same RAM (but 32GB instead of 64GB) I was getting around 5.5-6GB/s.

The motherboard looks sleek and there is plenty of room for large heatsinks.

In my opinion, this was well worth the cost.

Great Mother Board. I originally had an Asus x79, ( the cheapest model ) This was a mistake. It would occasionally decide not to boot for hours or days. This new EVGA Board Not only out performs in day to day obligations but , I'm convinced that CPU and RAM performance is up also. Bringing me more frames per second in games. I bottomed out in Arma 3 at 20 fps or so before while streaming from my one PC. now the bottom is 30 or so. Huge playability difference.. Also, EVGA support is very good.

The board works as good as the original except I did not look at the description closely as my original had built in Blue Tooth, this one did not. I have been a fan of EVGA for many years and highly recommend them. I also added two EVGA GeForce GTX 780 graphics cards plus 64 GB ram
