I have been using this card for a couple of weeks and so far it is really good. I'm not a gamer, although I have a couple of games for my PC and tried them again with this card. They look really good compared with my previous NVIDIA 9800. For movie watching I found a bit a drag on the decoding of MP4's (the interlaced feature is not well handled) however, this might be a problem with the player as well, so I am not blaming the card for it. The MPGs and DVD's, also BD's playback smoothly using PowerDVD HD.

** See Update below **
On the down side, this card comes with a micro-HDMI connector that supports HDMI 1.4, however, EVGA products do not provide means to connect audio into the cards so you could take advantage of A/V on your HDMI. If you are looking for this feature (which is available thought the NVIDIA GTS450 family) this product won't give you that. If you only care for the video part that you could output to your TV or projector and bring the audio to a home theater or other audio distribution method, then I believe you'd like this product as well as I do.
** ---------------- **

UPDATE to the above comment:
It might be a driver issue I had when first installed the card on Windows Vista. I have upgraded to Windows 7 now and the driver that was added during installation offers and HDMI output that you can select (instead of your speakers, for example) and output your audio through the HDMI connector on the card. TIP: Buy a good quality cable mini-HDMI and you'll enjoy very good audio and video experience with this card.

I Love this graphic card for the simple fact that, not only did it enhanced the graphics but it sped up my computer as well. I bought this card as a replacement for my NVIDIA Geforce 9800GT 512MB. I must say that so far it's been an amazing investment. I do graphic designs, and web development so I actually plan to buy another one and run them in SLi. The customer service from EVGA has also been pleasurable. They keep you updated and informed which is always appreciated especially as a consumer.

PROS:
Enhanced Graphics
Performance & Speed
Quiet & Cool
Easy to Install
Great Customer Care & Support

CONS:
NONE except that a New Graphic Card come out ever 3 months

Upgrading from integrated graphics to this card was a great decision. Not only can I now run just about every game I play on the highest graphics settings, but the baseline processor usage for my system has gone down.

I bought this hastily to replace my 8800GTS 512MB that suddenly decided to let go near finals week. I was torn between the GTS 450 and the GTX 460. I decided to get the cheaper card and went for the EVGA GTS 450. I wasn't disappointed.

Pros:
-This card has slightly improved the overall performance compared to my old 8800GTS 512MB. I feel that it would be even greater but my CPU and HDD are bottlenecks.
-It is quieter than the 8800GTS 512MB. I used to be able to hear my video card through my closed-back headset; not anymore.
-It's much shorter than the 8800GTS 512MB. This allowed me to increase airflow.

Cons:
-After I had installed the card, I proceeded to boot my computer. As I did I heard a semi-loud buzzing noise coming from the card. It sounded like something was hitting the fan. Sure enough, I took out the card and found that a wire inside the card had come loose. I put the wire back in its place and the problem was solved.

By no means am I calling this card a "gaming" card. However, it plays the games I already have better than my old card. It runs all my Valve games great (CS:S, L4D, L4D2, HL2 series, Portal, etc...). It plays many more games I have on high graphics but I do not wish to type them all here. If you are looking for the highest graphics with higher AA then go for the GTX series (but you probably knew that already). For my purpose (watching HD/BD videos, doing school work, playing the occasional games) it was the best choice. If you are looking for performance on a budget, I would definitely recommend this card.

I knew exactly what I was purchasing when I purchased this card. It isn't top of the line, but for ~$95, it is perfect. It plays all the games I want to play on my desktop, and it works great in Linux. I already have a gaming pc with an ATI 5850 in it, so this was for casual use.

It plays everything I have thrown at it.

Great bang for your buck if you can catch it with a rebate or on sale. Extremely quiet as well. I can't hardly notice it is even in my computer.

From games like crysis 1, and 2, call of duty, battlefield or batman: arkham asylum, darksiders, and grand theft auto, any type of game thrown at this card, it will absolutly blow them through your monitor with stunning clarity and smooth as glass framerate, there is nothing that hampers this card, it is extreamly quiet and keeps cool through heavy stress 5 stars!!

I bought a second EVGA GTS450 FPB so I could run SLi until I do a new build later this year. Now, to be fair I bought this Used-Like New. The card itself is excellent, if a little old. It still has enough power to run everything I throw at it.

Why 4 stars? Simple. Like I said, I bought this to run SLi. The problem I ran into is, this shipped without the SLi bridge. This required a trip to the attic to try and locate the original bridge, which was lost in a move. Without the bridge, it's of little use. I ended up ordering a bridge, which was an additional expense and wait.

Overall, the card itself is great and unless you're a power user, should be more than enough for your day to day needs.
