I've built a few computers in my time using motherboards from different companies but this was definitely the easiest I've had the pleasure of setting up and using! I was tired of being a "guinea pig" for some company's effort of selling a board without doing what seemed to be proper testing, then waiting for a new Bios to fix the problems that everyone would be having. Being that this was my first i7 build along with using newer hardware that I had no experience with (OCZ Revo 120 Gb Pci SSD),all went together very easily. Not one hiccup. After reading a little about Overclocking the i7 ,this board took me there with very little effort, tested and stable. I doubt if there are any "better" motherboards out there and from what I read EVGA has THE BEST customer service. Great layout,good OC'er,great customer service,and Lifetime Warranty on this board, along with Amazon's fast shipping, you can't go wrong. I will buy EVGA again you can count on that!

First of all, this mobo is not for first time builders or those new to the OC game. The price is a major turn off for those that don't know how to maximize its features. I am running this with an i7 950 OC'd to 3.9 ghz for daily use. However, the truly great thing about this board is the features for you PCIe devices. If you can think of something you want to tinker with on a system, this board will do it!

A word of caution though... Make sure your case is big enough for this mobo, as it is an EATX board. Also, if you are like me and using a Corsair H70 or H50, please know that the Northbridge heatsink is pretty tall and will not allow you to place the radiator at the back of the case unless place the "push" fan on the outside of the case (get creative).

Unfortunately, Sata 6.0 and USB 3.0 aren't all that awesome... I was honestly expecting USB 3.0 to be more like firewire compared to USB 2.0. Oh well!

I have built many, many machines - this board is tops. I read many, many reviews from other builders and found nothing but positive comments - built with:

i7
12 Gig
256 GB Crucial SSD - sata III
Win7 64 bit
Gx460 EVGA

Stable and fast....

0 problems - straight forward install. I have yet to find a review where someone has gotten a dead board ... EVGA has a lifetime warranty on these boards - nothing but quality.

I received product on time. It comes original box and QA seals on both ends. Everything in box contents are original and new except for motherboard condition. The EVGA seal is broken. I don't know the condition of the motherboard, whether it has been used in past or not. I am very unhappy at it.

Motherboard functionalities work fine, no glitches, surprises or BSOD. There is one issue I have which kind irritate me. Boot up time takes way too long, nearly 2 minutes or longer. It reminded me of an old workstation with zeon cpu that I had at work. Every morning I come in, I would power on the system and walk away for a couple of coffee and come back. This machine would still chugging and grinding away, unbelieving long. Other this problem, I am okay and happy with the product. I would definitely reconsider buying EVGA products again.

Quality-Assurance-Inspection Seal was BROKEN on arrival.
MOBO Anti-Static Packaging Seal also BROKEN on arrival.
Product has obviousley been OPENED by others.
Product does appear to be new and unused.
Have since found several similiar reviews regardng the BROKEN Seal with EVGA 4-Way Classified MOBO on Amazon.
Installed and seems to be working well.
Has occasional Bios issues at W7 start-up but I think it has to do with Sata 6gb Marvell Controller and Raid 0 configuration - (2) 600gb Velociraptors.
MOBO is great board use frequesntly just uncertain where and whom this one came from?
Saw news clip earlier this week about similiar problem and Amazon purchases - Beware!!!
