Where do i start? Had to make 2 orders for them to still send me sub-par products. First order I had, there was only 1 of the carbon fiber poles. Had to contact amazon and they issued a return for me. Amazon representative was great at her job and with her assistance. Ordered a second set of poles and they got here promptly. Finally satisfied that I received 2 of the poles, I screwed them together to see how long of a boom I had to work with. As I'm holding my camera out on the end of this little boom, I notice something bad....The poles are curving and do not screw together straight! Now I'm very disappointed. All I can say is these are not worth my time to even deal with. 2 orders of these poles and 2 returns made. What a waste. QC must have been done by a sleeping member or broken machine.

End cap of the pole broke loose destroying my camera, BEWARE!

End of the pole failed during a shoot, and the attached camera hit the pavement. The glue is weak and you cannot depend on these for secure mounting. Wish I had known that before my camera was destroyed as a result of the poor quality of these poles. One would expect carbon fiber poles to be strong and reliable, these are definitely NOT! Contacting the manufacturer to see what options are available either through them or through amazon.

Good until the screw snaps!!

Was a excellent extension until the screw end twisted off into the bottom of my gimbal handle. Caused the entire gimbal and camera, a $2500 camera rig to hit the concrete floor. Used it twice before this happened. Contacting seller to see what my options are.

Great poles, but you better reglue the metal pieces to the carbon fiber because they are not bonded well with epoxy. In other words, what you assume to be a tight connection can come loose in between the poles and you could loose your gimbal and camera rig.

How I found out this was after using two of the 4 I purchased, I tried to unscrew them to get them apart. The metal pieces in between were spinning around inside the carbon fiber tubes. I checked all 4 and three of them had come lose by gentle hand twisting. If you had your gimbal and your camera on it over a cliff, it is possible that the weight of the gimbal upside down could result in you loosing your rig.

I have since reglued mine with gorilla glue. Still holding well even with some serious hand twisting after my mod. After checking and testing them now I like and trust them to hold together to secure my gimbal to them.

Connectors fall off but super easy to fix and it’s worth it

The metal end connectors fall out easily due to a manufacturing defect(very common) but they are easy to glue back on with some gorilla glue and work perfectly. I use the for skiing videos so they go through a lot and the honestly are worth the money if you are trying to increase your production quality.

Looks great, and actually worked out well, but already the metal insert has broken free of the carbon tube on both. Going to have to figure out how to reglue them.
