I'm just going to start out to say that I bought these to assist my feet in keeping warm while working in Freezing Temperatures on a below freezing floor!

The freezer itself is in a warehouse which temperatures range from 10 to 30 degrees. I work for approximately 2 straight hours with 15 minute break intervals to warm up. I bought these heated insoles in expectation that they would keep some warmth in my feet throughout an 8 hour shift. I also bought Kamik Thinsulate Insulated Boots, which are actually a good bit of an expense. So here's what I found.

FAIL! Hands down. I think the heat they put out is 3 watts. Well it needs to be more like 10 watts because a simple set of 12 hour hand warmers put out twice the amount of heat then these!!! That's ridiculous!! I read a manufacturer response that they aren't supposed to bathe your feet in heat...this is more like rationing food in a concentration camp to the point of death - yeah was very dissapointed!! I thought maybe it was even the boots that I was using so I migrated them into a pair of sneakers with just a thick cotton marino wool blend sock (which works amazing for heat packs because of the small contact patch of the sneaker, and the fact that sneakers have a more naturally foam insulated pad, versus the cold rubber conducting pads on the Kamik Boots ... worked just a bit better. Ridiculous, very dissapointed!!

OTHER PROBLEMS WITH THESE - PLEASE READ!!

FIRST PROBLEM - I bought this as a combo, came with the battery packs and heater insoles. One week after using them, the switch on the Left Insole just broke. I mean just hands down broke loose - really cheaply made.
