First trip I used them on a camping trip, in this case it was easy to pack clothes and roll them up in these bags. Better yet, extremely handy for "quarantining" dirty camp fire smoke saturated clothes.
The 2nd trip I took them on was a longer trip with several "stops". I used these packing bags to pack clothes in a large suitcase. For each "smaller" trip, all I basically had to do was roll up the packing bag and toss them into a duffel bag and I was essentially ready to go for a few days.
They're extremely versatile and the added convenience cannot be over stressed. The quality of the bags themselves - after 2 trips they seem to be holding up ok. No tears and the lining appears to be fine. I'll be buying these again when mine finally wear out.
