Any problems with Eagle Creek products, and their warranty department is very responsive. I had a problem with an Eagle Creek backpack, and they were very responsive about addressing the issue in a more than fair way.
The Eagle Creek packing cubes are top quality. Comparing it to the other brand, it is superior. It has a handle and the other does not. It also just looks and feels better. However it is more expensive, and the other brand provides good service and utilization as well.
I recommend the product due to the utility and the quality, but almost docked a star because of price..
Now I feel like an idiot for not having adopted this approach years ago. Packing is much easier - fill up the sock bag, fill up the underwear bag, and so on. Finding stuff at the hotel is a breeze - socks in the red one, pants are in the blue. All the dirty clothes are in a cube that I dump right into the washer when I get home. Way better than what I have been doing up to now.
The cubes themselves seem well made, and don't take up much space or weight. I'm sold on the concept, and will never go back to packing items loose in a suitcase. Two thumbs up.
I've also washed them and they have held up perfectly with no damage done. You will not regret the quality of Eagle Creek or the convenience and organization these bags offer while traveling.
These are sturdier than Rick Steves but thinner (which I think is a good thing, can get two deep in a carry on without making it too thick). My only critism is that they are just a TINY bit smaller in length and width than the Rick Steves and E-bags ones, which makes folding shirts and pants to fit the full size and getting my wire coated hangers on top kittycorner maddeningly more difficult.
