From the Author
Whatever I write--poems, short stories, romantic comedy, romantic suspense, or psychological thrillers, family appears at the core.
Growing up in a large, multi-generational, extended family I saw high drama, low melodrama, great hilarity, real tears, broken hearts, mended hearts, life-long grudges, forgiveness, and the gamut of messy emotions that shook and shaped my world views as well as views of self. From that chaos, a basic belief took root.
Family kept you from falling through the cracks. Or not.
Or not intrigues me. Falling through a crack happens. Even monsters had childhoods.
In The Early Years, everything comes back to family.
