From the Author
I wrote this book because I wanted to help people move past "getting a job" to consider starting their own business. There are many, many good books in print today that will talk you through starting and running a business. That need is well met. This book is about specific businesses that people can actually start and run themselves. No franchises, no storefronts - these are simple, straightforward, in-demand businesses that anyone can start and run. An open mind is all you need.
About the Author

Thanks to the author for validating that it can be done and for highlighting the various practical aspects for each type of business. I think I can use a similar thought process, for my own ideas, and know what it will take to do them. That's half the battle. Also, I now have ideas on where to find ideas. Now, I just have to go for it.
