I have been wearing Earth shoes for 1 year as my solution to dress shoes for work that I can walk in. Just ordered these for my business trip to Germany next week, and they will be exactly what I need based off wearing them out of the box for 1 day. Highly recommend for padding for foot, arch support (which is important to me) and the stylish, yet comfortable, appeal. Worth the money as I have gone through many shoes that I tried to wear for 1 day, and then went into my donate pile.
Wanted to update that while in Germany every day for lunch I had to walk up 5 flights to the cafe - these shoes made me feel like I had tennis shoes on!

I ordered the 'Wide' and what I got is a loose shoe with a normal sized sole. If you have truly wide (not fat) feet, you need the part you are standing on to support your foot. If the upper is loose, the toes get squeezed and they are sometimes just floppy. I am so tired of falling for this over and over. :(

Great Comfortable Bootie-Stinking Cute!

Absolutely love this updated version of the Earth Kristy bootie. I have the Kristy in 3 colors and want more colors! This booties is the same insole and heel height of the Kristy, so I knew I would love it. I do too!!!! The ruching and perforations add such cuteness and style that can't be beat. The Lt. Pecan color is gorgeous, and I don't normally buy neutral colors. Now I want the Admiral blue and maybe the black. This shoe is so comfortable, it is about the only one that will get me out of my Alegria shoes for awhile. For me, this shoe is a big hit and I hope Earth will continue making this bootie maybe with a new little fashion tweak, here and there for 2018 but keep the basic full coverage, heel height, peep toe, insole and open back intact. It would be fantastic to see more colors, like the Kristy has. A medium gray, dark green or mustard colors would be really cool additions to next years' color palette. I live in Texas so these are a little warm for summer months, but I plan to wear them more during our milder winter months.

Paying vendor because their shoe is defective!

I have discovered that Earth shoes run about a half size smaller than expected. That said once you find the size it does have a comfortable foot bed. However, I would not recommend buying this particular shoe and certainly not from this vendor. I tried walking in the shoe and the Velcro heel strap keeps popping loose with normal walking. I am returning them but apparently the vendor is charging me $6 to inform them or their defective shoe. If it was not for the defect I would have kept them. Poor customer service!!

The wide width is actually Wide. These were a bit large for me and had to return for another pair in a half size smaller. Very,very comfortable and good looking. I have back problems and had to walk a couple of blocks in these the first day I wore them. No problem at all. I look forward to trying more shoes from Earth. Love they have a soft arch support in them. This style can be worn with stockings or thin socks in cooler weather. Sandal/shootie/bootie all in one. Yeah!

I purchased the black size 9w and I have room to spare but not sloppy like. I may order the red shade in the future.
