I am fairly confident that this tea helped me have a fast and efficient labor. I started drinking it at 36 weeks to help tone my uterus. On the days that I drank it I had frequent braxton hicks contractions. I didn't do or take anything else that would have helped labor.
I went in to labor at 39 weeks and 2 days. Labor started around 6pm with some contractions. Arrived at the hospital around 8pm and they became more intense. Had an epidural around 9pm. Baby was born at 1am. I pushed 4 times in a matter of 10 minutes and he was out!
My first labor was double the length of time and a lot less productive with each contraction. So I give a big thumbs up to Third Trimester Tea!
My new age Dad was obsessed with making sure I drink red raspberry leaf tea throughout my pregnancy, so I looked for a reputable company and ordered it pretty much just to appease him. But I have to say this tea is really yummy! I have no idea if it will help with labor (due date is in a few weeks), but the tea is yummy and I look forward to having it everyday.
I can't really say for sure if this worked or if it was a coincidence but my first labor was 16 hours at 41 weeks and my second (which I drank this tea with) at 38 weeks lasted 8 hours and would've been even shorter if I hadn't had to wait on my doctor to get to the hospital. I was induced for both so I think that's a fairly good comparison. I did notice that this gave me tons of braxton hicks after drinking it as well.
Tastes really good, since it's not purely red raspberry leaf tea, but a mixture of several good herbs, including nettle (full of iron) i like the taste better. Last pregnancy i drank pure red raspberry leaf tea and i got sick of its taste pretty quickly.
I purchased this tea to begin drinking in my third trimester. Although not a major fan of tea, I found this to be pleasant tasting, especially when sweetened with honey. I haven't had my baby yet, so I cannot comment on it's effects on labor and delivery (I'm hoping they're miraculous!). Given the pleasant taste and relaxing benefits, drinking this tea during your pregnancy can't hurt!
Based upon previous reviews I ordered and drank this transaction every day since I reached 35 weeks. I would either hot or cold brew it. To cold brew I'd put two tea bags in ice water and let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. I had a 9 lb 11 Oz baby pushed out in 10 minutes and I didn't tear! Was it due to this tea? I don't know! But why not try it?
