I started using this oil at 6 weeks and it was my first pregnancy. I rubbed this stuff on each morning and before bed, i also kept a bottle at my office and in my purse just in case my skin felt dry or in any way itchy. I made every effort to not scratch when itchy. Yes, all kinds of factors have a roll in whether or not women get stretch marks and everyone is different. Here are my details- i was 33 years old when i was pregnant and my mother and my other female relatives all have gotten stretch marks from pregnancy, i also gained 35 lbs.
I did NOT get a single stretch mark during my pregnancy and i will buy this oil again when the second bun is in the oven.

I really love this product. I can't say that I'm sure it prevents stretch marks - but I'm sure in combination with other things, it helps! I am 3 months postpartum now and I don't have a stretch mark in sight! I gained 55 lbs during pregnancy, originally starting at 130 lbs and have naturally dry skin so I was quite concerned I might get stretch marks. Also, this stretch oil SMELLS amazing! It's the reason I still use it now even though I'm not stretching anymore. I think if you do the following you have a good chance of coming away stretch-mark free:
1. Drink A LOT of water
2. Have lots of healthy fats in your diet (avocado)
3. Use this product
4. Exercise as much as possible (yoga, walking, light strength training) and
5. Think happy thoughts. ;)

I waited a full year to write this review because I wanted to be fair. I started using this at 10 weeks and up to 3 months after delivery. I gained an avg of 1 lb a week and used this oil morning and night. I'm glad to report that I didn't get a single stretch mark. I did work out until about 36 weeks, but this oil was a miracle worker as to how I didn't get stretch marks. Those are genetic and I got them on my hips as a teenager, so this stuff works. I gifted this to all my friends that recently got pregnant. Also, Amazon has the best price on this!

Great, not overwhelming scent, and absorbs very well. Used the same combo for my second pregnancy and no stretch marks either. I started using the combo from the day I found out I was expecting. I would recommend to any mama to be!

I was using a much more expensive oil for the first two trimesters of my pregnancy, which worked fine (as in no stretch marks). I am so happy I found this oil as it is priced well (less than 1/3 of the price of the other oil I was using) and works just as well. I like the light smell, and that it absorbs well so it doesn't leave you feeling greasy or not wanting to put your clothes on. I have also used the other Earth Mama products and highly recommend them! I have very dry skin and eczema and haven't had any issues with their products. I am also prone to stretch marks and haven't gotten any using this product!

Love! Wow, I am honestly impressed. Smells good, like orange zest, but isn't strong. I use it head to toe and feel good I'm not putting harsh chemicals on my skin. I'm pregnant now but will probably continue to use postpartum. Makes me want to look into this brand's other offerings.

My daughter told me about this product and said it would make a great cream for my dry skin. Wow! This is the best I have ever used! My skin loves it and I love the easy way it is absorbed leaving only the faintest hint of citrus on my skin . Although it says it is a body butter it is more like a thick ceam, rubs in easily and my skin feels wonderful. No more dryness either. The only thing that is a tad anoying is that it is difficult to get right to the bottom of the container and I have to resort to cutting it in half in order to get to all of it - but then I do this with a lot of products. That said the product alone is good enought to warrant five stars. Even better is the fact that it contains no nasty ingredients.

I used it several times a week night until the end of my pregnancy and I found that this was great for cooling the itch you get when stretch marks are forming.

However, the cream does have an unusual smell that some may not find appealing and may cause problems if like me you suffer from morning sickness.

Please don't believe reviews about how it prevents stretch marks as if you are going to get them it will happen no matter what you apply to your skin. If like me you get them, just embrace your new mummy badges :)

If you really afraid of strech marks use this oil every day everywhere u need..belly..breast..hips etc..
