It works great, I use it for my grill only but they wear away so fast it’s not with the high price to keep purchasing. Ended up buying a better grill brush at the hardware store which almost does the same job for 90% less cost.

I haven't used wire brushes in a long, long time so I don't think I can compare, but these stones take off the grime on a grill quickly and easily. They do wear down pretty quickly, so if you clean your greats every time, you'll go through these pretty quickly.

Also, while these stones might work fine on a hot grill, I don't see how you could use these while your grill is going. I've seen people use a long-handled wired brush while a grill is on and warmed, but the handle that comes with these is pretty short, and I'm not sure if it is heat resistant.

I used this to clean my baking steel. It works well, as long as you get all of the large hard baked on items off before hand. The stone wears down quickly - so you'd be wasting your money if you use it up getting off a few large chunks that you could otherwise knock off with a fork.

For the specific purpose I use it for, it does a good job. Will have a short life though
