Earth's Secret Corridor

I am writing to you as the author of Earth's Secret Corridor. This Novel follows the lives of people in a small Midwestern community and connects them in subtle ways to previous events and some of what may be in store for them in the near future. Earth's Secret Corridor was written with importance placed on the main character's honesty, integrity, bravery, and friendship. Romance abounds as Michael, the main character, and Angela, his significant other, journey together through a process of self exploration and shared experience in dealing with the paranormal. The story is thought provoking and I hope will make you,the reader, ask questions about the state of affairs we currently find ourselves in. Although self-publishing is gaining momentum, a book published by Reputable Publishing companies still gets the greatest amount of attention in the current marketplace. Being approached to write for a prestigious Publishing Company carries a sense of great achievement. As a Self-publishing author I am using iUniverse's, Publish on Demand (POD) technology. They do a great job of carrying accuracy and integrity to the reading audience at large, in part because their POD has been set to a high standard. Don't cut yourself short by relying solely on the `Reputable Publishing Company' to decide for you whether a work is going to hold your attention or meet your highest standard. I challenge you! Try my Novel. Amazon provides 100% satisfaction or your money back on all products sold through their stores and websites.

Let the Journey begin here.

I began this novel with the greatest of hopes, and finished it in an effort to fully understand what a really bad novel consists of. It is the story of a man in a mid-western town and a full description of every person he has ever met in the town. It held the promise of leading off into a sci-fi novel but didn't quite reach anything beyond the mundane until the last couple of chapters of the book. Reading the introductions to numerous sub-characters that had no relation to the plot (if there was one)was painfully boring and took up a good part of the book. The relationship between Michael (the main character) and Angela (a complete stranger he hops into bed with in the first chapter) is not only unplausable and mesogenistic it reads like the fantastic pipe-dream of a teenage boy. When the the main character finally reaches something vaguely interesting, the discovery of an alien corridor, he takes a break from uncovering it to go have a day at the art museum and shopping with his girlfriend. When he gets back to the corridor he is ready to dive in, and when he does so begins the only salvageable part of the book. Note to author: Reading doesn't have to be as painful as a dentist appointment. They say to write what you know, but keep in mind that plot is EVERYTHING, without one you are just meandering about frustrating your reader.

Author Gregory Strausbaugh vividly describes the characters in his first novel, "Earth's Secret Corridor", much to my delight. The story moves as quickly as the novels main pair in a compelling adventure to restore the health of the planet and restore humanities right (or perhaps privilege) to exist. The source of the vaccine that could save all could be considered out of this world.

Highly recommended and leaves you wanting more. Much more. I truly hope that there are several more installments to this riveting saga.

This book is amazing. I didn't put it down until I finished the whole story. It gives insight to what is possible and makes it come alive. It is thought provoking and give a perspective to the reader that has limitless possibilities. I am reading it for the second time. If you want a real page turner, this is one book you should purchase.
