Pre-Assembled Player RodsWe've assembled a few hundred Foosball tables in our day, and one of the most time-consuming and tedious steps is assembling the player rods. Not to worry! We've now designed and built tables that come with pre-assembled player rods. Spend less time assembling and more time playing! |
High-Performance vs. Quick-Connect BushingsIf you're looking for a table with a hassle-free installation, check out our tables with Quick-Connect bushings. Just slide them on the player rods and snap them into the table. Easy peasy. If your a more serious player who doesn't want to sacrifice performance, check out our tables with High-Performance Bushings. The internal ball bearings allow for more fluid and frictionless control of the player rods. |
Weighted and Balanced PlayersAfter a valiant defensive stand, you go to clear the ball with your defender only to be stopped by YOUR OWN offensive player rod with their feet down. The opposition takes control and scores a quick goal. Dang. With weighted and balanced players, you can leave your offensive players with their feet up, and they'll stay like that after you let go. Typical rods will tilt back to the down position blocking potential clears. |

Leg LevelersThere's nothing worse than an unbalanced playfield where gravity plays like an extra defender. Most of our tables include built-in leg levelers to easily adjust the table for a more balanced playfield. Otherwise, our tables do include a shimpack to balance the table the ol' fashioned way. |
Side vs. End Ball ReturnYou've just been scored on and now have to take the dreaded "Walk of Shame" to the end of the table to retrieve the ball. Some tables are designed with a side ball return so you can discretely retrieve the ball, get back in the action and score a goal of your own! |
Textured vs. Soccer Style FoosballsThe classic form vs. function debate comes to light in foosballs - of all things. While the soccer-style ball may look the part and plays decently, the textured foosball gives you greater control of the ball, allowing for more advanced and technical moves. |

The table itself is made of particle board with a super thin layer of laminate. It will tear, scratch and peel very easily. I did have some scratched areas on the legs out of the box. The legs themselves are tedious to put together and really a poor design. They are hollow, but appear to be solid by the way you have to put them together. I've seen a few inexpensive foosball tables in my day, but this is BY FAR the cheapest made one I've ever seen. The legs are actually only attached by two pieces of particle board on the outside each side of the legs, with nothing supporting the inner part of the legs. There also are no leg levelers on the legs. They include 4 little rubber pads and call these the "leg levelers"......hardly.
The play surface is just a piece of particle board with the play-field painted on. No coating or plastic over it, so I'm sure the paint will wear off over time and get beat up. I had a cheap table several years ago and the play-field had a clear type coating over it so that the paint wouldn't wear off. not the case here. The description also lists this table as having rod bushings, which is one of the factors that made me buy it. Not the case. There are cheap plastic sleeves in each hole for the rods to sit in, with no bushings. The holes are also much too large for the rods, so there is a lot of play in them when the action gets heated. I'm sure the hollow, cheap rods will soon get bent with play. Even the balls are cheap. They aren't even perfectly round, so when they are rolling slowly, they tend to not roll straight at all.
Finally, the table smells awful. I put this together in the garage (which took an incredibly long time) and while I was assembling it, my daughter came out and asked what smelled like dead fish? I left it in the garage for a few days and it stunk up the entire garage. I then put it in the house and it stunk up the basement. After 4-5 days the stink has lessened, or maybe we are just getting used to it. Regardless, it still stinks.
Overall, this is a super low quality table and I wouldn't expect it to last if you had some wild teens playing on it. I still can't believe how incredibly cheap the design is on the legs and that would probably be the first thing to break, which would be a real problem. I would not recommend this table to anybody. BTW, why do some foosball tables such as this one have three goalies? That's just dumb.
Plan on four hours to assemble this table. The directions are pretty clear and the parts well labeled, but there a lot of them. One plastic part was broken when I opened the box it was in. I wa assembling it on Christmas Eve so I had to make due. I wa able to use duct tape to substitute for the part that dropped the ball after a point.
But the grandsons love it, they have gotten good enough to beat their parents, just not me!
This thing is heavy so build it where you want it to stay.
So: solid, fun game. Long time to build. Came with one broken part.
