All-in-all, given that no battery pack will last forever, and I never had any memorable issues with it (until its apparent end-of-life failure) I would have to recommend the product for its price. Definitely cheaper than buying batteries! But if one of the more expensive models claims to last longer, that might be something you should consider....
I immediately attached them to my remotes and noticed that 2 of them were flashing red fast (on the dock) so i switched them into other controllers and now those lights were blinking fast. So i knew immediately that i had an issue with 2 of the battery packs. I didn't get frustrated about it , because....whats the point... it's not like i paid an arm and a leg for it. and it's not like i could run back to a store and complain... so i sent the seller a nice email . and they responded within 24 hours.
They just needed a picture of the stuff i bought and then they sent me out 2 new battery packs. I think i received those within 2 weeks or so .. attached to my one controller ( because for some reason within that time frame i had one controller go missing .. so now i only have 3 controllers , i'm so bummed about that! )
But the battery pack worked great.
Thats my story!
Just discovered there is a on/off switch on the back of the charging station. As soon as I discovered it (believe me, I already had looked for one) the LED lights came on immediately and I can see that all my Wii remotes need to be charged. It is a little picky on being "just in the right position" as some of the other reviews have stated but its not as picky as people are making it sound; they slide right into the right spot pretty naturally. Also as of now I don't think my Wii has to be powered on to charge either, they look like they are charging with my Wii just on standby. It would be helpful to have some basic instructions in with the charging station to eliminate a lot of confusion of there being no wall unit plug for charging (because you plug it right into the Wii) and the fact there is a small switch on the back to click on to see your remotes start charging.

One of the charging bays does not work.
Two of the battery packs dont work: one set of batteries dont hold a charge, the other one cannot make contact with the charging bay for some reason.
