"A great collection of good easy recipes! I love the homemade cream soup recipes...a great way to avoid preservatives" emkat01
"You'll find casseroles for all reasons and seasons in this very helpful book. While I breezed through the broccoli casserole and skipped the cauliflower casserole I am most interested in the Mac and cheese and chicken pie casseroles. All the recipes are easy to make." ~John

Starts with tips on how to make casseroles. Making sauces is my favorite because it can be used for so many dinner dishes and it's all healthy ingredients!
Each recipe has a title, short summary of the dish telling you how to make it healthier and list of ingredients. Directions are given.
Table of contents where the chapter are broken up into food categories.
Each of the recipe starts with a title, summary of the dish, list of ingredients and directions. There are no pictures and no nutritional information but you can substitute for healthier options and they tell you how.
Some recipes have a small photo at the end. There are no servings.
A KEEPER! for sauce healthy suggestions along with recipes you can use them in.
Other works by the author are highlighted at the end.
Two things turned me off about this book though. Not all of the recipes had measurements. An experienced cook can wing it but some people really need those measurements. Also, white sauce was mentioned but a recipe was never given. Same as before some people need that. Neither if these things affected me but its something that should be reviewed.
