A great vocabulary review for beginning and intermediate Japanese language students.
Each puzzle has a different theme and each theme has both a Japanese to English puzzle, and one from English to Japanese.
There's an answer section, and there's a J-E, E-J dictionary with all the words used in the puzzles.

I love doing crossword puzzles, so I was happy to find one for the language I am currently studying. However, on many of the pages, the filled in boxes that denote the beginning or end of a word are too light to see on the crossword grid. This makes it difficult to know how long the word is. Even though the puzzles are supposed to be easy, it's always helpful to know how many spaces are in the answer word.

This book is an amazing idea! It combines my love of crossword puzzles with my interest in learning Japanese! Nothing boring about it and a very fun way to learn. I didn't know Kana at all until I used this book, and by the time I was through with it, I knew all the Kana.
