"I stayed up until 3:30 am to finish this book. I couldn't put it down! Taylor and Gabe were incredible! I loved the story line, but honestly it was Gabe's sense of self worth that broke my heart and wouldn't let me put it down! What he was doing for Zack, was the cherry on the tastiest cake! The chemistry between he and Taylor was tangible, not to mention sexy! I'll admit that I shed a few tears; there was a lot of emotions running through this book." Silvia, Amazon reviewer
"It was a wonderful story without many touching moments. Their attraction was instant, their chemistry off the charts. i absolutely love characters with a ton of empathy. She's an inspirational character and Gabe was a fantastic book boyfriend. This book shows that opposites attract and can be together in a fantastic relationship." The Book Fling
"Easy Moves was incredibly enjoyable. There was great character development, a good story line, steamy scenes, and just a good ol love story." - Siobahn-Get Booked Up
"I adored this book, Lea Coll is a wonderful author and I really enjoyed reading Easy Moves! Gabe and Taylor are COMPLETE opposites and this book is an emotional journey that you do not want to miss. Lea Coll created an emotional book that shows opposites attract and not to judge a book by it's cover. The book is heartfelt and keeps you on your toes. If you are looking for a book that has characters that are real and relatable and doesn't shy away from the hard subjects, you need to read this book right away. It was a GREAT read!" - GA Books LoverX
"This book is remarkable! I fell in love with Gabe and Taylor. The push and pull of their relationship was both heartwrenching and heartwarming at times. These characters felt so real to me. I could feel their emotions and understand their actions which created a book that I had a hard time putting down. I cannot wait to recommend this book to my friends! I will be talking about it for a long time." - A Book Nerd, A Bookseller, & a Bibliophile Blog
"Easy Moves by Lea Coll is a very well written romance that is full of heart. Gabe and Taylor are so wonderful together and I loved reading their love story. Equally sweet and steamy, their back stories, while opposite in some ways, are also quite similar. A really enjoyable read with wonderful characters who aren't perfect, but love one another enough to let love keep them together for a really promising HEA with just about everything they could ever want theirs for the taking." - Amazon reviewer
"This book was amazing! I loved the characters, the story, and the heat! Gabe is a super sweet guy with self confidence issues, who falls for an amazing girl Taylor that struggles to do things just for her. They are opposites who have an immediate attraction. The build of romance was fun and natural, and ends with some super hot intimate scenes! I loved this book and can't wait to read more by this author!" - Amazon reviewer

A Boudreaux Universe Novel.
As a Hidden Gems ARC reader I received a free copy and promised an honest review. Here it is.
Rating: 4,5 stars (of 5).
In general: Ex juvenile delinquent falls for female US prosecutor.
- Taylor Leeds (26).
She’s an Assistant US Prosecutor now working in New Orleans, who escaped for some time from her family in Annapolis, (near Washington DC). At home she and her parents had to care for her severely autistic brother, Caleb (24). That and her study took all her time and, although gorgeous looking, she had no serious dates.
Before her parents are too old to care for her brother she - for awhile - wants to live and work far from home, before returning to Annapolis and take over the care for Caleb.
- Gabe (30)
He’s a bartender. He never knew his dad and his mom wasn’t very interested in him, so he didn’t finish his school, got involved in criminal activities and spent some time in jail. Now he cares for a boy in his neighborhood, Zack, 15 years younger than him. Gabe tries to prevent that Zack (also with an absent dad and a non-caring mom) will make the same mistakes he did.
Gabe and Taylor meet for the first time during her legal job in New Orleans. There’s immediately a physical click, but also an emotional distance: Gabe hates everything connected with the judicial system and at first behaves brusquely and aloof. But they have to collaborate in Taylor’s project and gradually they get along better. After some time their different social background and the care for Zack and Caleb causes problems for a permanent relationship.
The author Lea Coll describes the problems with insight and feeling and, at the same time, creates a credible, suspenseful plot for the solution of all those complications. For me a pleasure to read.
Wow, I really wasn't expecting the heartbreak Easy Moves presented. I was perhaps expecting something a bit more lighthearted, but what I got was a thoroughly engrossing tale about one very damaged man and the woman who loved him, but couldn't make him love himself. I think my favorite part of the story was Taylor - she just had this big heart, and was so unselfish and caring, constantly putting everyone's needs before her own, and it was a little hard to read as Gabe constantly hurt her, allowed his insecurities to do his talking for him. I knew he had a wonderful, caring heart too, it was just buried beneath so much pain and old fears that it took some doing for it to come out. Thank God he took his head out of his rear finally and went and proved to Taylor what she had told him all along - that he was the man for her, that he deserved love and happiness too.

Gabe is a once upon a time bad boy that is working hard to change his image despite his past. And he’s not really a bad guy. He’s kind of like a porcupine…prickly on the outside but has a big, squishy heart that he tries to hide. Taylor is a good girl who grew up in a good home, yet she’s faced, and is still facing, some pretty daunting and challenging things in her life. But she has an open mind about New Orleans and its people. And she has this huge heart. But she’s not a pushover, either. And that’s what makes her perfect for Gabe. He still sees himself a certain way and tends to lash out at those closest to him. Taylor doesn’t let him get away with it, no matter how much she’s attracted to him. And that, in turn, is a challenge to Gabe, which ratchets up his interest in her.
NICUnurse’s Rating: This book was a pleasant surprise for me. Having never read anything by this author, it was bound to be a 50/50 chance, and I’m really glad that I took that chance. It was well written, with a storyline that flowed easily (and well done), and characters that were easy to fall in love with (and not just the hero & heroine). And a really great HEA! It’s a story that will tug at your heartstrings, for sure, and will leave you cheering for all the underdogs.
I give Easy Moves by Lea Coll 5 out of 5 stars!
