Reading this was bittersweet... so anxious for Ben and Savannah's story, yet hating to see the Boudreaux series end <sigh>.
You have such a descriptive way of using your words that i feel what you are writing. You always manage to include humor even in an intense situation. Ben and Savannah, so perfect together. I want to write Ben is so sexy and I sit here and think, "I never met the man", yet in my heart I know he is because of the use of your words. He certainly is every woman dream! Not just the body and sex, but the kindness, the honesty and the deep love, not only for Savannah, but for his mom and all the Boudreaux family. Savannah, such a strong woman, I like that have have strong women in your stories, and still have them so caring.
The ending had me in tears - tears of happiness and sadness. You see, my first husband passed away, and yet there are times I know he is with me and while your book is fiction, it was like I wanted to reach out to her.
What can I say, I just loved everything about this book, except I want more LOL I will miss this family. You amaze me, I'm never bored reading your books, I feel like I become part of the story and that I'm sitting on the sidelines through the whole book. Imagination ... thank heavens your's is great and your writing so descriptive.
Thank you for another great series and for ending this series with a wonderful story.
I was one of the eager readers that wanted this book right after Kate and Eli Easy Love. I wanted it because Van and Ben caught my attention. Their chemistry started early on, it just wasn't their time yet. Actually, pieces of their story has been written throughout series, you have to pay close attention.
Easy Nights was a long awaited story that was worth the wait. Savannah and Ben needed this time. They needed the time to heal. They needed this time to grow. They needed this time to trust. Most of all, Savannah needed this time for herself, and when you read this amazing book you will see why her book needed to be last.
I loved this book and finished it in two sittings because saying goodbye to a group of characters that have been part of your reading journey is hard. This was such an amazing family, it makes you wish you were truly one of them.
If you are a fan of Kristen Proby, you will love this book too. Why? Because the Queen of Swoon has once again hit the nail on the head.
