This guide gives the usual information and advice - a timeline, budgeting, attire, photography, music, flowers, decorations, invitations etc. Some of this standard information is not covered in as much detail as some of the other guides, other items are more fully covered. What makes this guide unusual is that it delves into advice for holding a green or ecologically responsible wedding. It also goes into current trends, giving an idea of what are the latest trends in various areas, like photography, decorations etc. This guide is organized by topic rather than time line (although a suggested timeline is included), making it easier for to adapt to a different schedule than the usually used twelve months.
Unlike many wedding planning guides this one does not include any pockets, ziplock bags etc to keep receipts organized. An it is not in a binder format so there is no place to keep contracts, brochures, samples etc stored. This means that in order to use this guide a bride will need to have a separate filing system in order to keep all of these important papers together and easily accessible.
As with all wedding guides the real determining factor will be what sort of wedding does the couple have in mind, and what are the organization styles and abilities of the people using this guide. This one would work for someone who is not strictly into a chronological format (or who can arrange the schedule themselves) and who has the self discipline to maintain a separate storage system for receipts, contracts and information.
