Product Description

This 40mm (L) x 40mm (W) x 20mm (H) extruded aluminum heatsink kit is specially designed for Cooling 3D Printer, NEMA 17, TEC1-12706 Thermoelectric Peltier Modules. This set of heatsink height is 20mm. This kit is made from 6063-T5 aluminum alloy with high thermal conductivity 201 W/m.K, structure stability and light weight. The heatsink extrusion is in vertical and horizontal grooves; that is greatly increases the heat dissipation function. The surface of extruded aluminum is anodized in black. This kit of heatsink comes with 40x40mm pre-applied thermal conductive double sided adhesive tape, for easy installation and optimum heat conductivity.

    I bought these to add to my Chromecast dongles as they were getting too hot and causing issues. I had a small circle one made for chromecast but they are no longer available. So I went with these and so far have had zero issues with the dongles overheating while in use. They are a tiny bit too big for my usage, but they are out of sight and being bigger seems to keep the heat down even better than the smaller circle one on my older chromecast v3 dongle. Been 4 months and shows no sign of falling off.Edit: picture added as installed on Google Chromecast v3

    I used this on a 3d printer with a relocated extruder motor. The stepper motor would get very hot since it no longer touched the aluminum frame so I decided to use a couple of these to cool it down. I also added a 4020 fan into the mix and she's now cool to the touch. Good product, sticks pretty well, efficient at wicking heat.

    I bought these heatsinks to use on stepper motors. I have one that is mounted vertically and the adhesive has no problem holding it in place. I needed to remove some aluminum on one of them so that it would fit in a tight space. It was easy to work with and yet strong enough that the fins didn't just break off. One of the motors drops and hits the table with quite a lot of force and it hasn't caused the heatsink to fall off. Great product great price.

    I've bought two sets of these for use on some power bricks. Of which they get abnormally hot. They work great for dissapating heat from the brick, I can tell just from touching them. I have the bricks mounted upside down, under my desk, along with the heatsinks. I'd say they stick very well if they can withstand being upside down. If I ever need more of these, I know where to get them.

    The design allows for easy cut to size, in my case I could get 26x40mm which is perfect for the CPU and ram chips.
    Obviously, needs to properly clean before sticking the heatsink onto, it becomes rather solid after a while.
