Karolyn’s engaging wry wit rings out in Eat the Elephant. This is the first self help book that I have wanted to read from cover to cover without stopping! But I suggest you get your highlighter and the other simple tools Karolyn recommends before you start. That way you won’t have to put it down! You’ll want to keep this book within easy reach to refer to it often. Karolyn Vreeland Blume is the lawyer who doesn’t “pussyfoot” around when it comes to helping you get out of overwhelm! As a very busy professional I find the advise easy and quick to implement and DO. Lana Nelson, www.drbruceandlana.com

The chapter on perfectionism is great for any Type A personality. A great addition to your personal (and professional) library.

With Karolyn’s straight forward writing style and keen awareness for our challenges of modern life, I could relate to all of her stories and descriptions of human behavior, which are spot on. There were many "Aha Moments" throughout the book for me.
Interestingly enough I was ready to hear all the tough love from Karolyn. There is plenty of practical teaching in her book. Without understanding, the world can be overwhelming. Of course, this book is very timely for our culture of today. I believe this book is a must read for everyone.
It gives simple, actionable plans to reduce overwhelm and simplify your life.
