Now to this book: The main chatacter Jenny gets an even more indepth view of her past and what really happened to her. It is great read and just like the first it will suck you into the story. You will get mad and you will get some feels in there too. The Author does not shy away from nice shocking twists and also heartbreak.
If you are not a fan of rude language and hard knock backs to the main char then this book might not be fir you. But please download a sample from the first because the way Jenny and her friends are portrayed is just like a real social construct. Not everyone is a happy bunny in an an Undead world! But the realness of the book also adds its own magic.
I can not really say a lot about the plot because : Spoilers Sweety! But I can give the verdict that it is even more indepth and a worthy sequel to the first. A real real bonus in my eyes is that it is a long book. It is a great price for a good long read. And I am already desperate for the third book!
Jenny can't live without Declan. Jenny Alive Again or Jenny Undead. To be honest even Jenny Alive could never live without him. Too bad that he came back wrong when she tried to save him by making him eat parts of her flesh. It should have worked! Now Jenny's mission is to find her mom and force her to fix Declan... And maybe eat her later. Revenge is a dish best served alive and screaming after all! Can they find her mother ? Will Anna be able to fix Declan? Who is Farron and what is his damage?
I LOVED this book an can't wait for th next! Jenny is the end all be all zombie girl hero and I am always in awe of her indomitable spirit and refusal to give in. It may take her a bit to figure out the right path but once she does... Watch OUT! Before this series I never considered a zombie for a heroine but now I am totally addicted!!!
***This series is suitable for adult readers who enjoy a little scifi in their Apocalyptic Zombie Horror Action Adventure mysteries with a romance chaser :)
If there is one thing Jenny doesn’t know how to do well, it’s lose. She doesn’t take well to threats, perceived or otherwise. In this fallen world, they are everywhere. Fine, Jenny can handle them all and still have the wherewithal to banter back and forth with Trix. But Declan, in whatever state he is in, is her achilles’ heal. It’s not easy to love and to lose, and at times it felt like she was losing everything she loved.
There are so many amazing plot twists in this book, and I find myself having to be careful here not to reveal anything. Just when you think you know the course Jenny is going, Murray blasts you with the unexpected. I found myself torn between wanting to devour (pun intended) it, and not read too fast to avoid finishing it.
It is creepy. It is heartbreaking. It is bloody. It is tragic.
