Worked great for about two years of 10-12 hours use daily, then a few keys (F, PgDn, F5) became temperamental: hard to press and needs to be pounded on to work sometimes). For the price, this is a very workable solution to replace an even worse (replacement) keyboard.

Almost perfect

This was the least expensive keyboard replacement I could find for my Lenovo Thinkpad R61i laptop. At the price, I suspected I was taking a chance, but with the economy the way it is... Anyway the keyboard arrived promptly and works well. It binds very slightly on the palm rest cover in the lower right corner. I loosened the mounting screws very slightly and wedged a thin flat blade screwdriver between the keys and the cover. Tightened the screws again and everything works well.

Good Value...But

As most of the reviews indicate, the keyboard fit for my Lenovo T60 was excellent in every way except for the "nib" keys. That is, the two protruding keys that select. I can't get them to work at all, but use the bottom select keys which work fine. Possibly this problem is due to installation on my part, and I hope to solve it. Otherwise, I am very happy spending around $40 instead of $110, which it would have cost going to a computer repair shop.

Product arrived and shipped promptly. Installed on my 2008 lenovo T61P 15.4" quickly, and with ease. They have used a different finish on the keys, and on the nib clicker (I don't know what it's really called, it's the two buttons protruding in the picture). However, I like theese more, and as long as it works I am happy. This new keyboard breathed life into my laptop.
Buying another just to keep in storage.

The keyboard did not fit

I needed a keyboard for a Lenovo T61. I believe the keyboard that was sent was for a T60. Though they are very close when i tried to install it, the keyboard did not sit in place correctly and the lid could not be shut. I eventually threw the keyboard away as it was not worth sending it back.

Failed on hyphen character after 3 months

Some keys stopped working, in particular the hyphen '-' key.

I need to replace this keyboard before I can use this laptop.

I will buy an original Lenovo replacement next time.
