This is a fake - not the real brand. I heard great reviews about the soap from a friend who said it cleared her acne. So I bought it here on Amazon, and also had my friend bring me one back from Europe. The one from Amazon is way creamier, and the texture and smell is completely different from the one from Europe. I liked and used them both, but be aware that the Amazon one isn't the actual Avene brand.

i bought it casue i had granny dry dry skin and im just 31! my dermatologist recomendad it after i tried many useless creams.... today i keep buying it cause it works great, leaves my skin very soft and hydrated. i combine it with Curel Healing lotion and i stay silky smooth for a couple of days. no more granny skin for me :)

I have dry, sensitive, adult skin and am prone to occasional hormonal outbreaks. I use Eucerin's dermoclear cleanser in the AM for its antibacterial properties, but at night time I wanted a gentle, moisturizing cleanser that would also make sure I had washed all my makeup away. This cold cream bar is exactly what I was looking for. It is gentle, creamy and rich and it cleanses without stripping away all moisture from my skin. It does exactly what I had wanted - gives a deep clean before bedtime while still providing moisture. It soothes and calms my easily irritated skin. Love it.
