Eberlestock X2 Hunting BagPack
The great one
The X2 is a tough little pack with big pack features. With oversized compression straps for lashing on a heavy load, dual hydration compartments, quick- access pockets for spotting scopes and tripods. And a rugged Intex tubular aluminum frame.
We field test the X2 with a 100 lb. bag of sand carried in one of our JZSD Spike Camp Duffels, racked on with the X2’s built—in compression straps. It performs extremely well... which demonstrates that the pack is nicely capable of moving gear into a spike camp, and that it’ll carry a serious load, like an elk quarter, with the quick snap of four buckles.
Perfect platform for our ARCG ButtBucket, for carrying a compound bow. Designed to accept either our A1SS or A2SS Side Scabbards, to carry either shotguns or full-scale hunting rifle.

Having coming from Ireland, and hunting in Scotland I was not sure what companies other than ICON or KUIU, which I used for years and love dearly. regrettably I left behind all of my gear during the move to the States. Frankly, dollar per dollar I found ICON and KUIU to be much different than what I was able to find at REI, Columbia, which carry some of the BEST camping climbing and survival gear. However, I was looking for Tactical gear that I could afford, water proof, quiet, carry two rifles and ammo with an internal frame and comfortable.
So, approaching wits end, I stumbled upon Eberlestock. My friends, after the fact laughed that I went to Amazon saw most packs almost sold out took a chance ordered the X2 for one half the price of my old pack and was taken a back. It is a work of Art and pure genius.
No Joke, I can sport this to Grad school as an awesomeday Pack. Laptop & any # books and it would look less bulky than a normal pack.
I can fit Two 2.5 liter source H20 bags . Slots for a rifle & Shotgun, ammo Bed roll, sleep Bag Tent There, are so many Innovative add-ons medKit etc. And Eberlestock Just like Icon & KUIU MOLLE attachments everywhere which tie down tight keeping the entire pack very very quiet as you move.
So yes I would definitely give this company more than 5 stars if I could to pleasant as it was a wonderful surprise and I can't wait to use it again.
Build Quality: 5 Stars. Material and construction all top notch
Sizing: 3 Stars. This pack is simply to small to fit most guys properly. I am 5'9" and it barely makes it to my shoulder if I have the waist belt on my hips. It works for me but just barely. If you are taller I would not buy this pack. Also the waist belt pockets are not very long. I am a 30" waist and the pockets are a stretch to get to. Other reviewers have made similar comments.
Hauling Stuff: 5 Stars. The design with the wing pockets and the ability to haul stuff for a small pack is great.
This pack is a little on the expensive side. There are backpacks out there a lot less expensive and lighter if you only wanted a day pack to trek with.
However if you wanted a pack that you can hunt & pack out with or if you discover something you wanted to take back with you, this pack can do it.
