I bought these shoes after a friend recommended them because she's on her feet all day and has bad knees like me. However, we are too different size people--I'm 5'7 and she's 6'--so our feet are definitely different. I wear a size 8 so that is what I ordered. They fit fine except when I walk. They tend to gap at the sides and get a little loose in the heel. I do have a narrow foot and that is probably the reason for the ill fit. If you have a normal or wide foot (like she does), these would be okay for you.
These have absolutely no support anywhere. For the price you pay, I would expect some kind for arch support to keep flat or low arch feet from rolling over to the sides. These shoes are equivalent to cheap flip flops where foot support is concerned and how you will walk in them.
When I ordered these shoes, I read where another reviewer said the color was different (darker) than the picture shows. This is actually true. The shoes look pewter-ish in the picture but are more bronze. If you are looking for dark silver or pewter, this shoe color isn't it.
This is a nice shoe for somebody...just not me with the narrow, low arch feet. I finally took my husbands advice and went to a department store and tried on what they call "comfort shoes". I like the flip-flop version of Alegria (Molly Sandal) and anything by Josef Seibel or Romika. I have titanium in one ankle and bad knees so these brands fit the bill as far as comfort when I'm on my feet. :o)
Seems like the label on the box and the shoe color did not match. Also the website display looks grey rather than bronze.
