Overall, I wish this book had been a little shorter (novella length) because I can see this story was truly necessary but I view it as more of a stepping stone to get to Skeletons of Us. I can say at this point I am churning this review out as fast as possible because what this book was successful at is making me extremely curious as to how Killian is going to redeem himself.

Also please remember that this is Book 1 in the Unquiet Mind series and the conclusion to Lexie and Killian's story is the book Skeletons Of Us and it is out now.
As we begin Echoes of Silence Killian and Lexie meet for the first time. For those of you who have read Out of the Ashes you will recognize their initial meeting. What transpires through the rest of the book is their relationship over a two year period. One of the things that I loved about this book was revisiting some scenes that were part of Out of the Ashes but we did not get to see all of the conversation and in Echoes of Silence we do. I do not want to give any spoilers away but I will just say that the course of true love never did run smooth (at least that is a saying I always used to hear when I was younger and it applies here).
This was a terrific book with a hot alpha and his beautiful feisty heroine. One-click Echoes of Silence today to begin Lexie and Killian's love story.
The other thing is Killian. He was talking way too poetic for a 17-year-old and it made me roll my eyes every time he and Lexi had a conversation. And the author decided that being possessive and aggressive is a positive trait that a teenager is supposed to look in her partner.
