UPF 50+ Eclipse Sun Sleeves feature high performance 37.5 fabric technology. This higher performance fabric offers unrivaled sun protection, moisture control and cooling. The sleeves are designed to cover the back of the hands, which are particularly vulnerable to sun exposure. They stay up your arm by virtue of the spandex component (87% Cocona/13% spandex) so even a vigorous golf swing won't cause them to sag. Zero-distraction fit under golf and cycling gloves, or roll the hand covering up to the wrist. The stretchy fabric allows a lot of latitude in sizing, so if your style is active, consider a smaller size for a more snug fit.

So far he likes them since he drives all day.
These sun sleeves are AWESOME. I can wear short sleeves and just put the sun sleeves on when I go out into the sun. I am amazed at how breathable they are. They do not make my arms feel hot at all, and in fact, if I happen to walk under some shade or if there's a breeze, the coolness seems to penetrate the sun sleeves, and I can feel a sense of coolness on my arms.
The sleeves go all the way over the palms of your hands, so there is one big hole that you put your four fingers through, and then one smaller hole for your thumb. I love this because it means the back of my hands are protected, too.
I have a size Medium and they are perfect for me. I am a woman, 5'6" tall and 140 pounds. My shirt size is either Medium or Large, depending on the brand.
The fabric is lightweight and somewhat stretchy. It does not feel warm, in fact it helps keep me cool. I usually feel like my arms are burning up when I'm driving around in Southern California on a triple-digit hot summer day... But with this on, my skin feels cool. It absorbs much of the sun's rays. I keep it in my glove compartment and considering buying another one to keep in my purse for when I have to stay outside for a long while and happen to be wearing a tank top or something similar.
As far as the sizing goes, a small fits me perfectly and I'm 5'4", 119 lbs, with toned arms. It is not a snug fit, just right. I would say that choosing based on your shirt size will work in finding the right size sleeves. They have a variety of colors and designs but I wanted something natural that would look like my skin color. The color "mocha" is just right for me. My only complaint is that the large orange label seems unnecessary and it rubs against my arm. I would cut it out, except its sewn in pretty well. I might have to just deal with that. It's still 5 stars because of its functionality.
I included some pictures to show what the sleeves look like just out of the box, as well as when worn.
Bottom line: If you need sleeves for anything from basic sun protection or some relief from the heat while doing anything remotely active, these sleeves will work great.
