I purchased this same model pump over 3 years ago, and it's still working. The only reason I purchased a new one is for a backup, when and if my current pump goes out.
It has run dry in 100+ heat on the west side of the house for a couple of days while on vacation, and it's still working. It's been running in a frozen block of ice when it was down to 15 degrees one winter, and it's still working.
I had to remove the hard plastic filter cover to make it fit my fountain, and now I'm running it without even a filter, but it's still pumping water at a good rate.
I consistantly tried pump after pump in my outdoor fountain having them all die annually, if not more often. Little Giant, Cal pump and others would last 1, maybe 2 months before dying. This one has beat them all...not even close.

* The cord is 6 feet with a grounding line.
* The base has suction cups.
* The front plate pops off to reveal black filter medium and an intake.

We bought this pump to use for irrigating our garden from the small backyard "pond" that is fed by water from the basement sump pump. We figured the smallest size (75 GPH) would be just fine. However, the product information did not include anything about pumping height. The smallest unit only goes about 2 feet high, and wouldn't make it as high as our planter on the patio. Had to return it. But the box has a good chart on it, to help in a future purchase. Take a look at the photo attached, to see what size of a pump you might need.

Pro's:
Arrived quickly.
No missing parts.
Easy to assemble.
Very quiet.
Great price.

Con's:
connector which covers the impeller is making me nervous. It is a quarter turn to remove it, and it turns too easily. After attaching
my 3/4" tube, moving the pump causes the tube to twist/turn, which in turn, twists the whole unit and it becomes unlocked. This
means it disengages and the pump will empty all the water from the tank (or as far down as you made your intake).
This issue alone makes it too risky to use. I may have to use aquarium silicone to keep it from moving.

EcoPlus 728320 Eco 1056 Submersible Pump, 1083GPH

It comes with two identical adapters. The problem is that only one of them fits in to threaded whole and the other whole has larger thread so it doesn't fit. so why supply two identical adapters if only one can be used? That makes this pump worthless to me. I had 396 few days earlier but it wasn't pumping enough so I bought this one because it is larger but I can't use it because input connector is too large.

I used this in my 400 gallon pond. So far it has worked very well. its well built and has a removable filter in the housing which can be cleaned and reused. It also comes with these fittings, two-.75" Barbed x .75" Threaded, two-.5" Barbed x .75" Threaded, .75" Barbed x 1.25" Threaded and Nozzle x .75" Threaded. The Inlet is 1.25" NPT and the outlet is .75" NPT. The power cord is 120 volt and 175 inch. Max height is 7.8 feet and 594 GPH. It take 35 watts of power to run this pump.

So far so good I'll update my review if I experience any issues.

Update: It has been almost 2 years since I have been using this pump non stop with zero issues to report, I only stop it to clean out the debris from the blade.

Its has been 4 years since I bought this pump and it still works. Been running 24/7.

Pump worked good for the first 2 month I had it. I tried to use it again and it didn't work. 30 days warranty is not enough time for item. I used it about 7 times for about 15 minutes each time just to do a water chnage in my aquarium and pump gave out. The last two times I tried using It i had an issue with it not pumping water. Now I need to purchase a new one and I'm out 23 bucks. I guess you get what u paid for.

After a few weeks this pump does not have enough pressure to sent out water as it did when first installed. This is after cleaning it at least once every week. The built-in filter cannot be cleaned through the narrow side slits.
