I love all of my EcoTool makeup brushes and these little ones are just as amazing! They are so much easier to use than the cheapie sponge applicators that usually come with eyeshadows. I always just chuck those because, to me, they seem pretty useless. These brushes are great to toss into my makeup bag at home or my makeup pouch in my purse. They are very small, but get the job done quickly and easily. They can be used to apply shadow on the lids and can just as easily be used in the crease and under the lower lash line. I like that they come in a plastic type pouch so that they can be kept together and are easier to find in my makeup bag. Another great product from EcoTools!
I love to use these mini brushes for applying eyeshadow. I usually replace the cheapy sponge ones that come with most eyeshadows with one of these. I have noticed that the price for these can vary widely on Amazon, so I suggest you put them in your cart, move them to "save for later" and then you will get notified when you check your cart if/when the price changes (for those of you who don't already know this trick). I've gotten them for under $3.00 a pack before. I bought a bunch so I have plenty on hand. They are sturdy enough to wash and reuse as well. They work very well for eyeshadow application but are really too small to work for much else, except perhaps to apply lipstick.
Great mini brushes. Easy to hold for application of powdered eye shadow. The bristle edge is slightly tapered and stiff enough to apply a line along the eye lashes. Nylon bristles, bamboo handles. Note: the picture shows a gray metal ferrule, mine are bronze-like. Very happy with these.
The minis are soft, yet densely bristled, and they'll fit just about anywhere. The size is just like a typical eyeshadow sponge. For storage and travel I kept the plastic slotted case from the package bc it keeps them separate and protects the bristles. I bought these just hoping they'd work for concealer in small areas, but I'm pleasantly surprised to find they have lots of uses. They do work very well for concealer, as well as eyeshadow, brow powder or cream, and lipstick. Plus it's great there are 6 in the pack so you don't have to mix make-up on them between cleanings. And, just like all my Ecotools brushes, these have held their shape through use and cleaning, and do not shed at all.
I really like the bristles on this brush, they're not too fluffy so they're great for precision work. I wash them every day and use them for my eyeshadows. I see another commenter is using them for lipstick, I'll have to try that too. They're a perfect size - about the length of my finger (about 3 inches maybe?) - and don't take up a lot of room in the makeup bag - great for traveling. Good to know they're friendly to the environment too.
I was looking to replace a little pink Avon eye shadow brush this size. These are a bit smaller but not yet small enough to put in the eye shadow cases. However, they come in a sleeve with a pocket for each so I just left them in that and stuck the whole thing in my make up bag. The bristles are also harder than the Avon one but then my Avon one is about 20 years old! Perhaps with time they will become softer because right now they are more like an eye liner brush, that stiff.
This review is solely for using these are mini lip brushes for touch up kits for makeup artists I put these together for brides/clients so that they have an inexpensive but decent brush to touch up their lipstick throughout the night They are not the most precise but I tried them out and they beat using the lipstick bullet or your finger so I am happy with them
These brushes are amazing. They feel & perform like they should cost three times as much. They are durable, easy to clean and do NOT shed. They were designed to replace the awful spongy applicators that come with most eye-shadows but, they have any number of uses! I use them for applying eyeshadow & and concealer; they also work very well for applying lipsticks & glosses. These brushes are incredibly soft and I find that they blend under-eye concealer amazingly well without pulling on the delicate skin. Don't bother buying brushes that cost more, these are better.
