Format: Hardcover
This book has valuable information on various aspects of these 2 regions, and is among the best in the series.

I personally found the fauna checklists, detailed island by island, particularly interesting and hard to find elsewhere.

Another rare summary is that of the region's existing and proposed nature reserves, providing information on the unique features, legal status and threats to each one.

This is one of the few books on the region of Indonesia. It is very comprehensive, and the multiple maps are some of the most useful things to formulating research ideas for me. It's too bad it's quite old but the information is still very relevant.
