Triderma dries them out and it takes really long, months for them to come back, then if you apply once or twice, gone again!!
Don't understand why you canj find it just everywhere!
I never leave reviews, but this product is working so well that I wanted to let others know how it has helped my son.
He is now a little over 4.5 months old and has had eczema spreading across his forehead and down to his cheeks since he was two months. The pediatrician originally gave us an anti-fungal cream to manage the rash, but there was no effect. At his 4 month well-check, we received a Rx for Alclometasone Dipropianate Cream, USP 0.05%. It worked amazingly well, and his skin was soft and smooth in 4 days. But, the label says that it's not recommended for children under 1 and the pediatrician was very clear that we not exceed 7 days of use and that we cease use earlier once his skin cleared. His skin remained clear for about a day and a half, but then a small patch of rash appeared on his forehead.
We began using Cetaphil lotioin to moisturize throughout the day and California Baby Calendula Cream, in an attempt to control the inflammation without the use of steroids (several reviews and message board posts mentioned its effectiveness). The combination seemed to slow the spread of the rash, initially, but his face and cheeks were soon covered again (worse than before we used the Rx cream).
We discontinued use of the Calendula cream, thinking it might be too strong and causing irritation. We continued with the Cetaphil, which seemed to provide temporary moisture and relief from the itching, but did nothing to control the rash and required numerous applications throughout the day.
A co-worker informed me that she has been using TriDerma to control her son's eczema since he was an infant (he's now 2), and suggested that I give it a try.Read more ›
Caution: if you do have redness, your skin may tingle for a little while after first application. I didn't realize this could be a problem until I applied to my 3-year-old grandson's red and rough eczema ... I felt so bad when he cried that it hurt. No problem, we wiped it off with a warm cloth.
I actually find the "tingle" encouraging -- I know my skin is healing!

I used this on the exzema on my eyelids. It didn't burn my eyes at all...but it DID inflame my eyelids. They burned worse than before I used it. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Penny N. Bassett
